Sure dear "Calvin" Klein! Just tell your son he was named after a fabulous guy that made some awesome smell goods...lol Ok really I don't know the meaning but I like the name it's strong and I love the idea of using a K vs. a C!

This is the closet I could find. I hope it helps!

CALVIN
Gender: Masculine

Usage: English

Pronounced: KAL-vin

Derived from the French surname Chauvin, which was derived from chauve "bald". The surname was borne by Jean Chauvin, a theologian from France who was one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation. His surname was Latinized as Calvinus (based on Latin calvus "bald") and he is known as John Calvin in English
***To be honest, I respect your right to name your child as you please. However, Kalvin is such an "old" name, Not classic, just old. Might I suggest a more modern name?***
Example:
Kellen
Kelsey
Kellar
Kendall
Kenton
Kirkley
Kirkland
Korbin
Kinsly
Kingsly
Kingston
Kennan
Killian
Kruz
I hope this helps! Congrats and Good Luck!

Kalvin is Latin and means "bald",it's a form of Calvin (which i personally prefer), it's the name of the boy in the old comics Calvin and Hobbes as well as designer Calvin Klein and it's Snoop Dogg's middle name (Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr.)

Kelvin is Irish / English and means "narrow river"
