I had to add another name to the list for my girl!

Jocelyn Willow

It sounds a little too girly for me i think, since i wanted a boyish name, but technically it is unisex and there is something about it that i can't stop thinking about!

Do you like it better than Rory Jane and Harper Willow?

I am pretty sure based on the information that I gathered from the internet I am having a missed miscarriage. I have lost all my pregnancy symptoms over the last few days - no extreme tiredness, no nausea, no sore breasts. I had an ultrasound last week - it was just a sac surronded by blood.

Can I ask for a D&C now???

If so, did they have a National Guard promo before the movie in the theater you went to?

Just wondering if it's showing before the movie in every theater or just in the one I went to.

If you did see it before the movie, did you find it a bit desolate & disturbing to show before a children's movie? I'm not usually one to complain about something like that & I totally support the National Guard, but the images seemed like they were a little too bleak to show to some children, especially before a happy little animated movie.

Video here, if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJRthpxDM10

My son over the past couple months has been having a fit everytime my husband trys to hug or kiss me. He comes running up yelling dont hug my mommy! No kiss my mommy!

My husband and I have a really good realtionship, we dont fuss and dont get any fights and few we do have are when are kids are at grandmas. Oh and yes my husband is the father of my son.
Is this normal for a 4year old boy to want to keep his daddy from kissing or giving me a hug!

I have 4 year old twin girls. Up until this weekend they didn't even know what a gun was. Toy guns are not allowed in our home or at their day care center. We never watch movies that show violence or guns while the kids are at home or awake.

On the weekend we were at my parents house (they live on a farm) when my step dad pulls out an air rifle, sets up a target and everyone starts shooting. I understand that on a farm guns are need for a number of reasons but using them for target practice in front of 4 year olds is not one of them.

My husband and I were upset that they would pull guns out in front of our kids so we took them inside. My parents then went on at me that I should let the kids have a turn at shooting them. My husband was mortified (he grew up with guns) at the idea and my family were really angry with us. They can think what they want as far as I am concerned.

My question is who lets a 4 year old shoot a gun?

When my son gets excited, sometimes he will put one hand up in the air and say something like "La la la" in some sort of Italian sounding voice and kind of skip across the room. We always joked that he was Italian in another life, but I've never seen kids do this before. He makes great eye contact and loves other kids. He's a little behind in his speech, but we aren't around too many people. He's a very sweet and affectionate little boy, but we have always wondered why he does this little march across the room. Seems like he is trying to express something? He has started talking in more sentences, so I wouldn't think this would be a form of communication. Anyone else had a child who made weird noises with hand gestures???

My baby usually goes to bed at 7 and wakes at 7, with the time change, he woke at 6 now this morning and now went to bed at 6. Has this happened to your baby? How long until we can get back on schedule, I don't want to wake that early, you know? What can I do?

We are not on a strict schedule or anything, but this is just when he usually will get tired and stuff and I know 6 this time was really 7 yestarday, so he is technically on schedule, but he doesn't KNOW that time as we do, so will his body adust?

I started out breast feeding him, but he was so small at birth that my Ped. wanted us to give him formula to make sure he was getting enough food. We then started formula and it has made him constipated and he usually gets one stool a day. What do I do to help him?

When would you stop bathing your kids? My little girl is 5 now and I still wash her hair and give her a good scrubbing to make sure she is clean and doesn't get soap in her eyes. She is allowed to play in the tub for a few minutes before I start getting her bathed.

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and on Friday I had a regular check-up and she did an exam and said everything felt normal and then checked the babys heartbeat which was 170bpm. I feel great and now my cramps that I use to have in the first few weeks have been subsiding. I walk, eat pretty healthy and don't smoke, do drugs or drink. Do I still have a good chance to miscarry? I really hope not.

Went into preterm labor at 30 weeks, put on bed rest and have to take terbutaline when I have more than 4 contractions in an hour, have had to take the medicine about every 10 hours. The first week they did a fetal fibronectin test and it was negative. Now they did the test again this week and it's positive. They gave me steroid shots for his lungs to develop in case he comes early. My question is how acurate is this test and has anyone out there had the test come out positive and not gone into preterm labor? Any advice will be helpful, I'm pretty worried.

I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old.

My 7 year old puts his own clothes away including folded clothes and hang up clothes.

He wipes down the counter in the bathroom when he makes a big mess doing his hair.

He takes a shower on his own used to throw fits but does it well now, sometimes to fast sometimes he takes forever but hey he's getting cleaned.

He wipes the table sometimes, and puts away some of the utensils and he sets the table sometimes.

He does his homework before he plays outside, or watches tv.

My daughter keeps her room clean so does he. Sometimes they need to be reminded but they are pretty good at it.

He picks his clothes out on his own.

She helps me put her clothes away, except the hang up ones due to her not being tall enough :)

Anyways, I was just wondering what your kid's do at their ages. I think mine are doing awesome.

They also say Yes Ma'am and No Ma'am and Yes sir and no sir and that's to my husband which is their step dad. "He is their "daddy"

I would appreciate it if you could list some names for me!

Any names, boy or girl, that sound sophisticated or elegant to you. Maybe kind of artsy too, Renaissance artsy.
One that comes to mind for me is like Raphael maybe?

I'm not pregnant, it's just for the future.
Thanks!

I am going to be babysitting a 2 yr old girl starting tommorow, 3 days a week, from 530am until 5 pm. I am charging 50 dollars a week, which includes, breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Im not tryin to make a big profit from this, i know the family and my son loves to play with her, so its kinda like a playmate for him, as well. I thought it was a fair price, but all my friends and family think im crazy for charging so little. Is that really cheap?

April will be 10 years since I had breast reduction, and now i am 3 1/2 months pregnant and i am worried that i wont be able to breastfeed. They told me that i might, that i will have to wait and see after i have the baby and that i need to start like as soon as i deliever. Two of my sisters also had it done and were able to nurse and it wasnt as long as my surgery. My one sister was able to nurse both of her daughters, but not for long...and the other was able to do it for a few months. But i think the difference is that I dont think there nipples were removed. My were completly removed, cut down to size to match my new breast size, and put back on. So my question is for women who have been in this situation to give me there stories or opionion. Thanks so much!

Just playing around with name combo's. Those are the 3 that I like. Not pregnant or anything like that, we are talking about another one and already have 2 boy names picked out. Our girls that we have now are Abigail Rose-Renee & Phoebe Lynn.
