I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old.

My 7 year old puts his own clothes away including folded clothes and hang up clothes.

He wipes down the counter in the bathroom when he makes a big mess doing his hair.

He takes a shower on his own used to throw fits but does it well now, sometimes to fast sometimes he takes forever but hey he's getting cleaned.

He wipes the table sometimes, and puts away some of the utensils and he sets the table sometimes.

He does his homework before he plays outside, or watches tv.

My daughter keeps her room clean so does he. Sometimes they need to be reminded but they are pretty good at it.

He picks his clothes out on his own.

She helps me put her clothes away, except the hang up ones due to her not being tall enough :)

Anyways, I was just wondering what your kid's do at their ages. I think mine are doing awesome.

They also say Yes Ma'am and No Ma'am and Yes sir and no sir and that's to my husband which is their step dad. "He is their "daddy"

That is good to teach them manners, and obedience. I am all for it when parents teach there children about morals and values. I didn't see you mention anything about GOD.
Do you take your children to Church every Sunday? It is good to teach them about the Lord. -Everything else will fall into place. -God Bless.

I'm not a parent yet but hats off to you for actually being a good parent and making your kids grow up respectful. something that can hardly be seen in today's society.

Okay...

Do you want a cookie or a trophy?

Really,
do you need a pat on your back?

This is stuff parents are suppose to do.

It's one thing to be proud of your accomplishment but it's another to be boastful.

They shouldn't be saying yes sir or no mam. They should be saying yeah mom or yes dad. It's unhealthy otherwise.
