Wow, your sis has a pretty diverse list - classics like Rose, throwbacks like Lavinia and current names like Lyndsey.
From the girl's list, I'd use Jenna Lyndsey or Jenna Adrienne. They're a nice middle road between the many types of name she has in mind.
For a boy, I like Garrett. I have a very handsome cousin Garrett - the name wore well when he was a tot, and still fits well now that he's 20-something. Garrett Ryan might make a nice combo.

Girl: Probably Lyndsey because its cute, but write it Lindsey or everyone will get it wrong!
Boy: Nathan or Ryan. I love both names but Nathan better.
Some people call him Nate for short, but I dont like that and its usually an actual name.

NOT LAVINA!!!! no offence if its the name of a relative but it sounds horrible. it reminds me of Laverne. eww. Adrienne is nice for either girl or boy. Rose is very nice. Jennifer is a little overdone. Katie Rose is nice but what about Katherine Rose to sound more elegant and using Katie as a nickname. As for the boys, those are all nice except for garrett, and Ryan is overdone and blah.
