He procrastinates every time I say its time to go up to bed, is there a fun, easy way? Or just have to fight with him on this?

I breastfed my first for 11 1/2 months, my second 10 months, and I am currently breastfeeding my 3 month old.
La Leche League suggests breastfeeding through the first birthday at minimum and goes on to recommend it for 2-3 years. I just stopped when my babies lost interest. What do you think?

tonight, i have had a child knocking on my door and running off, swearing at me and my children, throwing things at my window and generally being a nuisance. never seen this child before, so what i did was this, i hid in my porchway, and waited for her to come into my garden again, as soon as she did, i stepped forth and drenched her with a bucket of icy cold water! my question is, was i out of line? bearing in mind i didnt touch her, and she was on my property.

I've used Clearblue OPK for the past two months. I test once per day. I start on day seven and test for seven days (I am on a 24 day cycle). There has only been one time that there has been any hint of an LH line, and it was very faint. On every other test there is no line at all, just the control line. Shouldn't I be getting some sort of line, even if it's not my surge?

Has anyone else had this experience? I am going to see the fertility doc in two months, so I suppose I'll know for sure then, just frustrated in the meantime. I am considering not using them anymore, the experience only depresses me.

I am trying not to turn on the heater to save on the gas bill. I live in northern Georgia so it is not freezing yet, but it is getting cold. The problem is that I have a 1 year old. I bundle her up at night and put lots of blankets on her. At what temp would it be to cold to keep the furnace off?

And what kind of family can adopt?
are they only babies, or are older children put up for adoption?

It seems like one side of my baby's face is fatter than the other. Her older sister had really full cheeks when she was an infant but my 10 week old seems to have one really full cheek and one not so full. It is becoming more noticable every week. I put her to sleep on her back and she naturally favors putting her head to one side (the side with the fuller cheek) so I try to turn her head so that she doesn't develop any flat spots like the doctor said. I just wasn't sure if this was also causing her face to develop lopsided. My main concern is if there could be a problem with bone structure, such as a jaw problem, rather than just uneven tissue- since this could probably be dealt with when she's older anyway. Does anyone have experience with this?

My husband likes Anthony and I like Andre. Can we just simply put "Anthony Andre Liu(last name)" as my newborn's name? Is there any rules when give a middle name? Can they be starting with the same letter?
Any suggestion will be appreciate! TKS!

She seems to love it. Maybe due to the fact that I eat a lot of spicy stuff and I'm still nursing her.
Every time we go to a thai or chinese restaurant she would sit there begging for hot food lol.

What should I do?

My sister-in-law is almost completely blind due to an injury during her childhood. She has a 3 1/2 year old daughter, which she has done a good job raising. However, she has decided that since she likes children so much, and is a stay at home mom, that she should start babysitting other peoples children at home. She has started distributing flyers and has had a few responses. My biggest complaint is that she has not informed (nor intends to inform) the parents of her visual condition. She put in her flyer that she will take any child who has started walking, so she could get a child as young as 1 year old. Although my sister-in-law has done a good job with her own daughter, I have seen numerous times where she misses things her daughter has done (playing with electrical outlets, jumping off of tables, etc.) Although her own child has never been seriously injured, I worry that something could happen to another child in her care. My DH doesn't think it's my business. Any advice?

She's twelve.
Here it is:

Dulcie Ann Laurels walked down her street with a smile on her face. She was meeting her best friend, Cara, at the park in five minutes and together they would go to school from there.

They met at the park every morning because it was an equal distance from each of their houses and only ten minutes away from the school.

Today, Dulcie was in such high spirits because it was the first rehearsal for the play Annie that her school was putting on, and Dulcie had found out yesterday that she had won the role of Annie, and Cara would be Pepper. She was ecstatic, and couldn’t wait for the first rehearsal, which was for an hour before school today. And it was such a lovely day, too, with the bright sunshine above beating down on her, but it gave off such a pleasant warmth that Dulcie didn’t mind the heat.

She skipped along, moving as fast as her short legs could carry her, such was her exhilaration.

What are some good middle names for the first name Catherine?

Our last name begins with an R so we don't want any L names or A names due to the initials... C.A.R or C.L.R. (you know, CLR the rust remover).

I went to school with a girl with two middle names. Her initials spelled out T.I.R.E. I try to steer clear of initials that spell out words or brand names!

Thanks for the help in advance!!!

I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months. He has a 3 yr old daughter with his ex gf. I really just want to know how to bond with this kid. I try to play with her, I feed her, bathe her...almost everything a real mom does. I just don't have a connection. My bf is worried and said that I don't treat his kid like my own. Well..I don't have kids. I don't know how I'm supposed to act. He said he wants what is best for his kid...and I agree. I just don't know how to be that person. Any advice? I'm really sad about this.

I was told that preemies motor skills are delayed depending on how early they were born. I was wondering is that true? i know every baby is different. should i be worried?

Cause my second son was born at 34 weeks gestation - 6 weeks early. He is now 9 weeks and 4 days he is smiling and talking (babbling etc). This is all new to me since my first son was full term but he was a day late. He is eating well and is almost or is 12lbs now. He was 5lbs 13oz and 18 inches long when he was born.

Mom of 2 boys - 7 yrs old and 9 weeks old (a preemie born at 34 wks gestation)
