I became pregnant with my first son only FOUR months after stopping the Depo Provera shot. My GYN told me that my system would be "messed up" for 18 months so the possibility of pregnancy was very low before that....yes, she was SO very wrong. I have since switched GYNs....and that was five years ago.

I couldn't tell when I was either - I got pregnant around my 13th week off depo - after having no periods. I was on it for 6 yrs total.

I would just keep having regular sex, then test once a month.

You can chart your BBT and mucus cycles - eventually they will regulate out. From what I know though it is easiest to wait until you get your first period and start from there.

Ask the doc if there is something else you can take to strart regulating your periods again so you will know if you are ovulating. It usually takes 8 months off depo to get pregnant, but I have heard of sooner.

I was on depo and my doc told me that it can take up to a year from your last injection to concieve. I got my last injection sept of 06 and i concieved sept 07-exactly a year later!! Good luck and try not to stress-it only makes it worse.

Your doctor needs to get you on Provera to get your periods to start. DO NOT, NOT, NOT GET PREGNANT WHILE ON THIS. IT WILL CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS. Once your period starts you should go on the pill to regulate them. It took about a year for mine to return and then another year to get pregnant.
