She seems to love it. Maybe due to the fact that I eat a lot of spicy stuff and I'm still nursing her.
Every time we go to a thai or chinese restaurant she would sit there begging for hot food lol.
What should I do?

For the person saying spicy food causes cancer:

She gets normal table foods, too. I'm breastfeeding because it's healthy.
But I agree with most of you that it she might be too young.

My son started eating jerk chicken when he was about 8 months old. Honestly unless it gives them a tummy ache or diaper rash there is NO problem giving them spices.
Western cultures, and in particular the US and Canada are the ONLY ones that limit foods during pregnancy, lactation and weaning. Many Middle Eastern and Asian cultures do not limit spices at all during pregnancy or lactation and have lower incidences of colic. Also many of these places do not have "baby food" traditionally, they basically use table foods. Yes there are some "first foods" that may be blander but these aren't stuck with very long.
*lol* the only thing my son has ever had problems with were 1) he ate 1 quart of tomatoes in one sitting (got a little rash) and wheat gave him a tummy ache when I introduced it at 1 year, but he was fine by 18 months.
PS Spicy foods ARE HEALTHY! Almost all spicy foods are very low in fat and salt because you don't need fat or salt to improve flavour.

My daughter ate pretty much what we ate from around 10-11 months, spices and all. THough she did go through a spell during her preschool years when she didn't like spicy foods. You'd probably want to leave the chopped Habanero peppers off of baby's portion, and skip the hard taco shells, but other than that, I can't see why he couldn't eat the other ingredients in the tacos.

Just remember everything in moderation and you will be fine. My son loves spicy food too and he is only 22 months. We don't let him eat a lot, but we don't limit what he can have. If he likes it we give it to him. My older son is incredibly picky because I was more cautious with his food intake when he was young. I also wanted to say good for you for still breastfeeding. It sounds like your daughter is getting a well balanced diet, so don't worry about it. My son is still breast feeding too. There is nothing wrong with breast feeding past a year.

give her a little. it's not going to kill her. my 20month old son eats whatever we're eating. it doesn't matter if it's bland, spicy or in between. so long as there is no reaction or family history of problems to foods, go for it.

If it doesn't bother her, why not? In certain cultures, hot, spicy food is very common, and the kids eat it. Just look for bad reactions, and act accordingly.
