alright i feel really really really stupid, but i just have a quick question. ok so before i ask, please know that i am not a total idiot and i do know about sex, but i just want to hear other people say it. alright so i was cuddling with my boyfriend. he had his pants and underwear on, and i had my underwear and a dress on, i can't get pregnant right? PLEASE don't call me stupid! i know i am, and i know about penatration, but i just want to hear i can't. so i am sorry but please be nice. i have been worrying even though i know i can't.

oh i forgot it was not just cuddling but out lower halves were touching, but again he had pants, and i had a dress. ok now the idiot it done...

Don't worry, you can't get pregnant without the penetration bit! And don't feel stupid for asking questions (especially in a questions/answers forum) -- the more you ask, the more you know! Add it's super important and valuable to know these things.

The stupid people are the ones who leave teenagers in so much uncertainty about these things! Never be afraid to ask! My own sex education was so ambiguous that although I thought I knew where everything went I was convinced that I was mistaken because that thing was never going to fit in there,was it? Needless to say, my first time was a bit of a shock.
You can only become pregnant if sperm is introduced into the vagina; no other way that does not involve a doctor and a load of test tubes.
Never have sex because a boy tells you that if you loved him you would; if he loved you then he wouldn't use emotional blackmail. If and when you do have full intercourse, make sure that he uses a condom even if you have already taken the precaution of going on the pill and bear in mind..the first time only happens once, don't let yourself get rushed into it before you are really sure that you are ready. I used to advise my daughter that when she thought she was ready she should wait for one more day before doing anything, it's better to have time to change your mind before than to wish that you had afterwards. Pregnancy occurs when a male's sperm burrows into a female egg (fertilisation). The sperm is one of millions that are contained in a man's semen (the liquid produced when a man ejaculates or 'comes'). The egg is released from one of the woman's ovaries (ovulation) between 12-15 days before her next period.
Millions of sperm are also found in the liquid produced by the penis as soon as it is erect (hard). This means that a man doesn't have to ejaculate for pregnancy to occur.

It is possible for a woman to get pregnant without having sexual intercourse (penetration), if there is a chance of any sperm getting into the vagina. For example, a woman can get pregnant if there is sperm on her fingers and she puts them into her vagina. However, the chances of you becoming pregnant in this way are very small because sperm can only live for a very short period of time when outside of the human body (a few minutes if left to dry out, or a few hours if wet).
It would also be possible for pregnancy to happen if the man ejaculates close to the entrance of the vagina, or if his erect penis comes into contact with his partner's body near the vagina. Again, the chances of you getting pregnant in this way are much smaller than if you were to have penetrative sex. However, it's important to be aware that, in some cases, getting pregnant in this way is a possibility.
If you think that sperm could come in contact with the vagina in any way, the best way to avoid pregnancy is to use contraception. Only condoms can provide protection against both pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). If you use a condom it should be put on the penis as soon as it is erect to prevent any sperm from coming into contact with the vagina.

NO, your are not pregnant. You could only get pregnant if his penis penetrates your vagina and sperm comes out inside you. You are not pregnant. Dont worry about that. Now, you sound young. Make sure you know what you're doing and be careful. Girls getting pregnant early now-a-days is happening everyday. A Baby is a responsibility you will carry forever! Use condoms if you have sex and get on a birth control pill. Be careful..

Wow, we have a lot of unversed people in the ways of sex here.
Here's the deal. If semen gets to your little privates, all bets are off. Now, if you were dry-running, and it got all the way through: His underwear, his pants, your dress, your underwear and to your labia, all bets are off. It IS possible without penetration.
However, it is very rare for anything to come of it, and likely only possible if you sat in the wet spot for a while.

His sperm actually has to be in you for you to get pregnant. It dies once it hits the air anyways. So I would say no.

No, sperm cannot teleport itself from his penis, through his pants, through your pants, and into your vagina. It just doesn't happen this way. And if you know so much about sex, why are you asking such a stupid question? I think I learned about this in fifth grade health.
