I don't like Kenzley very much. The z looks very out of place, and if you insist on using it, I would spell it Kinsley. But what about these instead?
Kendra
Kendall - I really like this one
Kendall Rae is really cute.
Also, I like Kenneth Ryan, but why name him Kenneth if you're just going to call him Ryan anyway?!?! Ryan Kenneth would make more sense IMO.
Good luck and hope I helped...

I honestly don't care for Kenzley. It sounds like you're desperately trying to feminize Kenneth. Why not McKenzie, Makenna, or Kenna? You could just use Rae to carry on the tradition, and choose a completely different name. Why not use his mother's or grandmother's name, so you're honoring his family, but not making him so uncomfortable.
If your husband doesn't like the idea of naming your son after him, why not use Ray as the boy's middle name, like Ryan Ray, or Ryan Kenneth. My husband's brother-in-law's name is Kenneth Ray too, and they named their son Logan Ray to carry on the family name. We're going to use Kenneth as a middle name, because it's my husband's middle name, and his father and grandfather's first name. It can get very confusing when legal documents come for Kenneth R. Smith. Which Kenneth R. Smith is it for? I would use Ryan Kenneth or Ryan Ray so you're naming your son after your husband, but not so directly.
I wouldn't be so set in stone about these names if your husband hates them so much. He gets equal say in the names; you should compromise. I really really love the name Sebastian, but since my husband hates it, we've agreed on my third choice and his second, James.

My son is now 26 years old. But his father's name is Richard Dean & His dad's name is Richard Keith. My father had passed away before my son was born & I wanted to name my son Kenneth Richard & at the last second changed it to Richard Kenneth, so he would have the same first name as his dad & the same initials as his dad's dad(Grandpa). We decide to do this & call him by his middle name Kenneth (Kenny).
When he got into school all of his records had Richard Kenneth on them, and all the teacher's would call out for a Richard instead of Kenneth. My son hated it & said if he ever has a son that he will not do that to him.
So my suggestion to you would be to give your son, your husbands name as a middle name, it will save him a lot of trouble in the long run.
Take it from someone who has 7 Richard's in the family and half go by there middle names. All the ones that go by there middle names hate having Richard as there first name.
God Bless you & your little one..

Hi there. Perhaps you AND your hubby could compromise is a fun way. You both could each prepare a list of 5 boys and 5 girls names each. See where you go from there. That way, you both are having equal input and who knows, you might just like what your spouse comes up with. If all else fails, put each name on a separate piece of paper in a large bowl and draw it out like bingo. What names is pulled out of the mix is the chosen one. ***Now, that should generate more effort to continue properly searching for the baby's name that pleases you both as no-on will be happy to settle it by this means! Buy a good quality name book. It will generate more ideas(make sure you both read it). Lastly, explain to him the importance of his name to you. And if he still doesn't want to use his name ask him to explain why. Who know's he may have a good reason. Although unusual, not all men want a child named after themselves. I hope the right name combination turns up soon.

I like Kenneth Ryan, but I don't really like Kenzley. How about Kenna for a girl's name?
Also, I would reconsider whether you really want to name your baby after your husband if that is not what your husband wants. I know I would be upset if my husband insisted on naming our baby something that I didn't like.

I do like Kenneth Ryan. Kenzley is just a little too odd for my taste... maybe try Mackenzie? To each their own though. If you're happy with it, use it. Best of luck.

Kenzley Rae has a cute, feminine ring to it while being similar to your husband's name at the same time. Great connection! Kenneth Ryan is a very strong, masculine name; Ryan is an excellent choice for him to go by. Both are great, I don't think you need to re-evaluate or second-guess your choices.
