I first sort ALL my laundry and check everyone's pockets for tissues, crayons, bubble gum etc.. While the wash tub is filling I add the detergent. While I'm waiting I inspect everyone's clothing and pretreat...I wash toddler's clothing in cold water/cold rinse permanent press... I pretreat any stains with SHOUT but, if you don't have a pretreater you can use straight detergent and let it sit for a few minutes.. I also like to add about 1/3 - 1/2 c. of baking soda to ALL my wash loads.. It helps the laundry detergent work harder/better and it's cheap.. I also turn my children's clothing inside out to help keep it from fading...I have children's handme downs that look pretty darn good for going through 4 toddlers... Good luck

i think of i began out washing my clothing while i replace into 14 or 15, yet my mom needed me to commence earlier, I in simple terms never needed to. I do think of 11 is slightly youthful for washing, perchance she might desire to help out her mom with nonetheless so she will nevertheless learn and then while she gets to be 12 or 13 she will do it on her very own. comparable for the 5 365 days old, he might desire to help in making his mattress so he learns and then by utilising the time he's seven or 8 he might desire to be anticipated to do it on his very own.

I always use warm. I have to wash the whole family's laundry together and it gets the smell out of my hubby's shirts.

warm water is ok though it is truly the dryer that kills most germs as it is hotter than water. cold is fine if you want to keep the clothes from fading

to wash kids clothes it is very important to use detergent that is without dyes and frangrance so that their young skin does not become too sensitive too soon. "All" detergent has come out with "Baby All" and it is a very mild detergent that smells wonderful and it leaves a light and fresh scent on the clothes, but the number one thing is that it really does get stains out of the baby's clothing.
