this morning i woke up with back pain that seems to be gettin worse. I am 39 weeks pregnant. I have BH contc's all the time but with the back pain i don't feel any sort of contractions...i lost my mucous plug 4 weeks ago and nothing has happened yet....what does anyone think? labor? or just pre labor symptoms?

back pain is definately a sign of labor. i would call the doc and ask.

Yes, you may have back pain labor and not feel other contractions. I would call my doctor since you are 39 weeks. I had back pain and a tight feeling in my stomach....it was labor.

With my third daughter that is exactly how mine started. I woke up with back pain at 4:00 in the morning. I got up and got a drink and walked around for a few minutes and went back to bed at 4:30 and then at 5:30 I woke up again with contractions. I timed them until 6:00 we left for the hospital at 6:00 and they checked me at 6:30 I was dilated to 5 and at 7:00 I told them to check me again and I was dilated to 10. I started having to push shortly after. I had her at 7:52

My back killed me on and off all day-and I didn't even realize I was in labor. I never had what I thought were "normal" contractions in the front. It was all in my back. I couldn't sit or lie down at all. I had the baby the next day.

You could be going into early labor. What they call "back labor" which is quite painful. I would go ahead and give your OB a call and let them know whats going on. Good Luck and Congratulations!

would desire to you perchance be in hard artwork? call your OB or midwife and notice what guidelines they have for you. while you're waiting for a decision back, time from whilst the tightening starts off by using going away to whilst it starts off back. it is frequency. length of contraction is commencing to end. solid luck, do no longer take from now on drugs til somebody has spoken with you and ok'd it.

Could be back labor. Is it just a tight feeling like a sprained muscle in your lower back? Thats what my back labor felt like.
Go try to poop. Thats how I got my labor going.

could be beginning of labor, back pain/labor is the worst omg, i remember. call ur dr and see what they say, if ur really worried go to ur hospital and get them to put u on the machine to see if they are contractions.

sounds like back labor to me i had it bad with my first.since you already lost your plug it sounds like your in early labor and any day now you will have your bundle of joy congrats
