the contraceptive implant is about 98% safe, the so called "withdrawl" method is useless, a man has what is called 'pre-ejaculation' its not a whole teaspoon full but just that little bit is enough to make you preggi. You are very safe on the implant, I wouldnt stress. Im on the injection, I have been for 2 years now, I HAVE NEVER used a condom or "the method" and im still skinny!!

The contraceptive implant is the most effective method of birth control that there is, with-drawl (and/or the rhythm method) is the least effective. Pre-ejaculate can contain sperm and a deposit on the vaginal folds can also lead to pregnancy. If you and your partner are monogamous and the goal is to remain childless at the present time your best method is the contraceptive implant

The withdrawl method is used largly the the catholic religion as they dont agree with contrapection but it is very unreliable. About as reliable as douching, standing up to have sex or standing on the phone book!? If you are that worried about getting pregnant even on the implants one might suggest using a condom, it is a good way to prevent sexualy transmitted disease which has been on the increase in all age groups!

Very unlikely. Why are you using withdrawal method if you have the contraceptive implant?

what do they call couples who practice the withdrawal method?

Parents!

the withdrawal method is useless as a method of contraception (aside from being very frustrating)

the contraceptive implant has a high level of success as a contraceptive, so there is no point using 'withdrawal' with it

Between the contraceptive depot and withdrawal, so likely as you stay compliant with having the contraceptive re-implanted when it's time to do so... is virtually zero, it's not even worth worrying about.

It happened to me once, I was on Depro-provera... but the fertilised egg never attached and was flushed out. I think it's very unlikely that you produce a healthly pregnancy from that... but not impossible, clearly it does happen.

Unlikely, the implant is very safe, and very foolproof!!!

Although really you SHOULD be using condoms, the inplant doesnt protect you from STDS
