How can you calculate your date of conception and due date?

Question

i had an ultra sound done twice at the hospital and they said "we cant tell you your due date yet". i really want to know! my best friend found out HER due date and shes only 5 weeks preggo...i want to find out mine, this is upsetting me.

if the last day of my last menstural period was August 26...what is a good GUESS on due date/date of conception?

yes the doctor showed me the heartbeat and he actually said its normal also they said everything looked perfect so far...i just dont understaand why they said they cant tell me my due date...strange. tomorrow tho im going to planned parenthood for some prenatal care and hopeully, HOPEFULLY they can tell me then! <3

you should be due about the 1st June and conception would have been two weeks after your last period. you are about 10wks + 2 days pregnant now.

What bothers me about this is that after two scans they haven't said anything? I would want to know 'why' right now!! I've never heard anything like that before unless there is a problem they are waiting to sort out before notifying you? Have they alluded to anything being amiss with the pregnancy and has the doctor or sonographer heard or shown you the heartbeat??
Sorry if I am alarming you but you need to get the facts from your doctor asap. I was told my due date on the first appointment and scan with both my kids and I am sure that is the norm.

Have you actually seen your doctor since the scans? It might be policy that the sonographers aren't allowed to say anything about due dates and that the doctors have to be the ones giving you any information about your pregnancy.

Something is probably wrong, they can tell with the ultrasound.
I lost a son on OCT 1 and the ultrasound showed he was 14 weeks.

Any way if nothing is wrong, then you take the date of your last period (start date) and 7 days and subtract three months.
so that would be around May 2 approximatly. You really need to get in contact with your doctor and find out what is going on.

howdy, properly my final era replace into August 31 and that i would be 6 weeks pregnant this wednesday. I surely have in simple terms been counting from my final era till i'm getting an solid due date. in case you be attentive to once you ovulated then you may decide your theory date from there. If no longer i might in simple terms wait til you notice your dr. solid success and congrats.

Type askdramy into yoursearch engine, go to the calculator on there, input the first day of your last period into it and length of your cycle and it will tell you all you want to know on there
