When i miscarried at 7 weeks the hormones where gone in 2 day's. are you 100% sure you misscarried? go back and see your doctor and exsplain to him whats happening he may be able to tell you a bit more.

The pregnancy hormones still float around the body after a miscarriage and do so for upto 2 months. They will slowly deplete as the body adjusts to no longer being pregnant. You will need blood tests to get a accurate +/- result. The doctor will be able to tell if your levels are increasing or decreasing.

for as long as 6-8 weeks you may get a positive test. It takes time for your body to release all the hormones. Its also possible that your breasts may leak and for other symptoms like nausea to persist as well.

I'm very sorry for your loss and hope that you are able to conceive again soon.

You'll test positive until the pregnancy hormones that the test looks for dissipate.
