Is this normal? i have tried extra pelvic floor excercises but does not work. i also am frequently urinating and have lost approximately 4lbs in weight in a week. what shall i do?

I was supposed to start my period a week ago today. I've taken 4 pregnancy tests over the past week and they are all positive...and the positive line gets stronger and stronger every time I take it. I haven't had any bleeding at all. I have had really mild cramps....but two nights this past week whenever I'd lay down to go to sleep they'd get worse. I'd pop a tylenol and the pain would go away. It was earlier in the week and I haven't experienced anything else. I don't even have any of the pregnancy symptoms...even tho I'm sure it's too early. I'd only be 5 weeks now. My breasts get a little tender every once in a while and last night while eating chicken for dinner I wanted to gag. But other than that...nothing. What are the chances of an ectopic pregnancy and what are the symptoms? I'm just worried...

my husband doesnt have his license yet although he's 26... i kno i kno shame on him. i hate relying on other ppl to do things for me and i really need to go out for a lil bit to grab a few things. i had my baby on the 8th and i drove til the very end of my pregnancy. is it really going to hurt me if i make a run to the store? how stenuous is driving really on the body?

My little boy is just over 1 month old and has severe reflux and gas (bad enough that he has been to the ER for vomiting a spitting blood and is on a prescription acid reducer). He screams in pain and often wakes from gas pains. I have found that feeding a lactose free formula (milk based) exclusively helps keep him from vomiting and screaming.

All of this being said, he is being switched to formula long before I had planned to, and now I need to know how to stop breastfeeding *cold turkey* without risking my health. My son is already 100% off the breast and on formula, and seems much happier and far more comfortable. So now I am pumping and would like to stop. How long is it safe to allow engorgement? Can I just muscle through the pain or will that cause infections? Please no advice about how breastfeeding is best - that is all I can find online and I am already upset enough that I had to stop. I wanted to breastfeed-it isn't best for his health to vomit and scream himself hoarse.

usually i have such horrible cramps (sept. so bad i had to go to the hospital) and this month i havent had any signs of it coming like not even one cramp or anything today is cycle day 33 and ima wait until day 35 to test seeing how my cycles range from 30-34 days and i was just suprise like no sign of it at all when all the month before i couldnt walk any suggestions would be great thanks?

We are having a baby girl in about 2 and a half months. I like names that are unique and meaningful, or names that paint pretty mental pictures. My favorites are: Starlee Mae, Skylee, Raina Grace.
He likes more common/traditional names. His favorites are Sarah Jane, Erin, Sam. We both have very different tastes.
Can anyone think of some first names that might be a nice combination of the two styles? For the middle name we like simple one syllable names like Lyn, Mae, Ann, Grace, Jane, etc. But we can't come up with a first name we both like. I would be more open to common or traditional names if they have a nice meaning behind them. But I hate overused names like Stephanie, Jessica, Jennifer, Megan, etc. Thanks for your help!

I'm a 17 yr old female and right about now I just need to know what my chances are of being pregnant. Me and my boyfriend sort of had sex (all he really did was insert and move in and out a couple of times then stopped, never to the point of ejaculation) and my period is usually on the 28th day, but today is the 30th day and my period still didnt start. but since my cycle is 28 days, that means my ovulation is on the 14th day. I just counted and it turns out I've had "sex" 3 days after my ovulation started. So since im 2 days late now, does that mean im pregnant? I've seen the pre-ejaction come out of him with my own eyes but i still went on with the "sex", which i knows sound really foolish. But i didnt know my chances of gettin pregnant from it. I'm really scared because this happened to me before, and i wasnt pregnant. But this time i really think i might be, and i pray that im not. So what are my chances? Please.

I am currently 5 months pregnant. And this mornign when I went to the washroom I noticed a lot of blood in my stool. Before I had a little bit when I wiped, but this time there was alot. I do have to strain a little to go to the bathroom. IS this a hemroid? Or somethign else? Should I be concerned? Or is it just because of constipation? Thanks.

Had Sex Three months before(used condom),she got her period of that month at the correct day and it was a normal,the second month her periods stayed for 2 days but the flow was good.last 10 days before she was vomiting for a couple of times and we did a urine test and a scan in a authorised lab,both were negative and it was normal the doctor said.now she is yet to get her periods ,will she be pregnant still?

I am 6 weeks preg. This is my 6th day bleeding. I have been to the doctor twice now for my quant levels and they didnt double but DID go up some numbers. I go back for my third one tomorrow. I still feel completely preg. and I am not cramping just period bleeding. Do you think I can still carry my baby to term? I know I could have misscarried but is there a chance I didnt? This is my plan. I'm 24 now. I've had a few little "flings" in my life, dated around and had one BIG relationship that lasted nearly 4 yrs.
In recent yrs tho, I have found myself up a brick wall with the guys I tend to meet.
No, really... they drive me crazy. All they want is sex and I mean sex only. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite the tiggress once settled & happy but... I am just not into random sex.
Well, I have set it in my mind that when I reach bout 28-34 if I haven't found someone suitable & serious, I'm going to save up, get well settled, find a good doc and do Artificial Insemanation.
I just don't want to go my whole life without having at least 1 child.
I'll take him/her to museums & librarys & art galleries & broadway shows. Make sure he or she will get THE best in education & life.
Oppz! Was I going off into dream land there for a moment?

My question is, what is the risk and drawbacks i'm not seeing? Only an outsider can answer this. I'm too involved maybe to see.

i gave birth 4 weeks ago, im having a bit of smelly discharge now that my bleeding has stopped. when i go toilet i can smell it but i wouldnt say its really bad just smelly in a not nice way. I have no pain in my tummy or anywhere and no symptoms of an infection. Is this normal after giving birth?

We found out on Friday that we are having a boy. I was a little sad at first because I was really hoping for a girl but our baby is healthy so I am super excited.

I feel healthier than I ever have (guess more healthy eating). I feel like such a woman with this little miracle inside of me.

I love being pregnant and life is great. Hope everyone else is at that point or gets there soon!

i have done a Digital temperature reading from the underarm......do you still need to add 1 > 1.8 degrees to bring it up to the actual "core" temperature (as per lots of web sites )because the reading was taken from underarm?

does this only apply for the old type glass thermometer? or should you add the extra degrees to any underarm reading?

My sons temp was 37.9 deg this morning, so does that mean its really 38.9> deg?
hes teething and has a had cough for the last week so hes understandably a bit miseable overall, but today hes refused all feeds, all day (had about 80mil since 3am this morning) and wont take water either.

He did take half a small jar hipp organic baby food mid morning, but this wont obvoiusly help with potential dehidration (hes refusing water/juice also).

at this rate think il be speaking to doc some time this afternoon.

any ideas on interperating these readings would be appreciated.
