I am currently 5 months pregnant. And this mornign when I went to the washroom I noticed a lot of blood in my stool. Before I had a little bit when I wiped, but this time there was alot. I do have to strain a little to go to the bathroom. IS this a hemroid? Or somethign else? Should I be concerned? Or is it just because of constipation? Thanks.

GO see a doctor ASAP! It may be nothing. You need the peace of mind finding out that it's nothing. But if something is wrong, a test can determine what the problem is.

While it is likely a hemeroid, if you are feeling 'off' at all, go to the Emergency room and get checked out in L&D. Blood in the stool can be serious or, as you believe, could just be a hemmeroid (which I can't spell either).

you probably don't have hemorroids yet, but you may be well on your way. I had this problem too, not a lot of blood though, but a little bit and I was always constipated. My doctor told me to take Colate stool softner as needed and it definitely helps. I wish I would have started taking it sooner, but things are much better for me now! Ask your doctor just to make sure though.

If you know you have to go but it's hard to get it out, you might just be tearing something inside that would make it bleed. I have that quite a bit when i use the restroom, but never alot. Mine is just from pushing hard. lol. But you can always go to your doctor and see what he says about it. You shouldn't have anything to worry about unless your getting blood from the other hole down there. Your ok tho.

I would make a doctors appointment as soon as you can just to make sure it's not a big deal. Especially if there was a lot of blood... you want to make sure it's nothing serious that needs medical attention.

You probably have hemorrhoids. One of the many things that no one warns you about when you become pregnant lol. You should be fine to call your doctor in the morning. If you are really worried, you can call their office and on their voicemail, it should state their emergency number.

i have this when my stools are hard and i have to strain. now they have gone a bit softer at the moment no blood. it sounds like piles or from straining there is a slight cut just inside your anus. dont panic. if it carries on and you bleed alot then go doctors but from what i read sounds like you straining to hard. thats what happens to me.

Its probably from bleeding internal hemorrhoid. But, it shouldnt cause LOTS of blood, maybe some spots or streaks. If your bleeding when you poop you should call your doctor right away, as it might be something more serious.

It could be a hemroid, but just to be safe I would call your Dr. and let he/she know what is going on.
