I made a phone appt to s/w the principal and little did I know until later, she had the teacher in the room! We put him in another school the next day and he is still there for 1st grade.

Yes, many times. Well, in grade two my son was having some difficulties with his teacher because she apparently wasn't listening to anything I told her about my son and was getting mad at him for every little thing that he can't help. (He has Asperger's Syndrome, a type of autism.) So every week he would be in the office for some reason or other and I would get a phone call and have to come down to the school and have a loo-ooong talk with her about whatever he had done wrong and it just didn't "click" that I had already told her a million and one times exactly how to deal with him. So I had a talk with the principal around mid-October and she talked to this teacher but nothing good came of it so she had my son moved into a different class.

The principle for the jr high school where my son went called me into his office and told me my son was going to be held back and he was going to show him "who was boss."
He told me he was going to get his difficult behavior under control. He accused him of being disobedient, and lazy.
I wanted my son passed on to the 8th grade and the principle told me I would have to go before the school board and plea my cause. I was a single mother and not brave enough to go before the school board.
My son is very quiet and never had a behavior problem in his life. We actually moved out of the district and enrolled my son into a different school. The teachers and the principle
at the new school could not believe the comments of the old principle. They commented on him when he recieved honors in high school that he was a "man of few words". His teacher took him under his wing and had him work on his house over the summer and paid him well. They bragged on him all the time and he really had a good relationship with the teachers and the principle at the new school.
Our life was very difficult, but I did not want to plea mercy to the entire school board. I still disagree that my son was held back. He is still a great kid, and has never had a disobedient day in his life and the principle was just an idiot.
My son is a great kid, he has never been in trouble of any kind. He doesnt smoke, drink or do drugs. His girlfriend told me he is the designated driver when they go out with friends because he doesnt like to drink....yet. I hope he stays that way.

Yes I did. She was lazy and refused to do her job as a teacher. My daughter was having problems in a certain subject and I would try to talk with the teacher about it, sent notes, made numerous phone calls finally I showed up after class and was told she didn't have "time" to talk with parents. I went to the principal who told me that was her "teaching style" so I went to the superintendent...within a week she was fired and replaced with a teacher who actually did the job of teaching and was very willing to work with me in order to help my daughter.

i'm in lots of circumstances limited to think of of those spoiled brats - a techniques too many, around me right here, in close social proximity - even adults! besides, i'm consoled by employing the reality, that there is often an outstanding justice in Nature, which balances out each and every thing. of course, all exceptionally beings are no longer unavoidably spoiled brats, and a few carry themselves with the considered necessary dignity and awareness.

Lots! About bullying, him not doing homework and not finishing work in class - and the biggest 'fight' was about a Grade Two teacher who was NOT teaching them social studies and computers - at all! I realized that by October, went to the school, and ended up teaching the computer class!
