Is there any specific book I should read that tells me how to take care of babies? I don't know what they are supposed to eat, or anything. I'm completely lost.

what was or are your cravings?? mine with my first pregnancy were pb&j with a huge glass of milk.. now with my 2nd i have had weird cravings like coke cola and mexican food!! just wanted to hear what others are craving!!

I have been on the depo shot so I have'nt had a period in a while. I want to go take a blood test because I hear that they can detect pregnancy before a home test. Is this right and if so how long should I wait for accurate results?

Been ttc for 1yr and 7mos and I think we finally got pregnant. 4 days ago, used hpk and got a prominent + result. Tested the next day, still +. The reason why I tested was because I was a lil suspicious I might be preg already. Sleeplessness, creamy cm, peeing too much, headache, cramps, fatigue, feeling of wanting to throw up but couldn't, sore, heavy, and itchy boobs.
I also chart by bbt and my temps are well over my coverline. However, most of my symptoms have diminished. I still get light cramps and boobs remained itchy. I have been observing if cm will change into blood (a miscarriage). No change in cm.

I guess my question is...is it normal for pregnancy symptoms go on and off during pregnancy?

I recently started going back to school but they are online classes so that i could take care of my son.....the only time i can do work is when he naps.....he will nap for between 15 min to 2 hours about 3 times a day.....does anyone have any suggestions on how i can do homework and keep busy with him so that he take less naps and falls asleep sooner?

I was wondering if any of you parents know any clues on how to handle your child during shot time! My daughter is about to turn 3 in December. I really hate taking her in for this because I don't even like shots myself! Any tips on how to help her out. I know you must give your child some pain reliever medicinel before and after to help the pain. Any other suggestions?

I had sex unprotected on Aug. 27 but my period ended on the 18th. I eat alot for my size and i snap all the time, i also have tendencies to be angry and cry all the time. I don't know and i can't get to a pregnancy test no time soon.

hi there everyone...are any of u fed up with ttc at the moment..i am..swore i was pregnant again this month but as usual im not...i am 23 yrs old and have lost two kids already.one 3 yrs ago aged 6 weeks then 16 weeks ago i miscarried at 6 weeks into the pregnancy after ttc for 18 months..it just feels like its never gonna happen and why do i keep losin them.i blame myself at times.i feel so use less too..i know i cant have them back but would give the world to have them here with us...im sorry for moanin so much but i need to get this of my chest..when i lost my son 3 yrs ago my sis in law had baby as well and there was less than 9 weeks a difference,this time its no different she is pregnant agin now too and there was only one day a difference in our due dates if i hadnt of miscarried..im seriously thinkin bout give the ttc thing a break now for a while cos i cant deal with no more negatives..has any of u felt like this and gave ttc a break..please no rude comments thanks.x

i really want a baby..
I have taken babysitting courses before and i know how to handle them and i know what to do if they get ill..
I realise what i would have to give up and i am fine with it!!
Now i know when you find out the catch alot of people will critisise me, but try seeing it from my point of view, its a dream, isnt it any females dream to have babys?
I want to be there for it and to love it and care for it 24/7.. like my friend does, shes just had a baby and she loves it!
The only trouble is (the catch) that im only 13.
Alot of people will criticise me, but please don't, i cant help feeling strongly about what i want!
I cant talk to my parents about this as i know they will be angry and very dissapointed.
But i really want a baby.
Please help.

She will take one or two sips of juice from a sippy cup. She will not take formula from one. She acts like she's not hungry (have even tried it first thing in the morning after her sleeping all night). I put it in a bottle and she guzzles is right down? At what age should they be more willing? When do I worry about her being attached to a bottle? She only gets bottles at meal times. I've never put her to bed with one nor does she drink on one throughout the day.

I took a pregnancy test, about 3 months ago, and it came back negative, I had missed my period for 13 days so I assumed that it was stress, The next month I got my period on time, and the following on after. Since July, I have been having sex almost everyday with my fiance trying to get pregnant, Now my stomach is getting bigger and harder, I am urinating more often and more tired/ moody. Could I be pregnant?

Im 14 and am in year 10 - (GCSEs)
In my school, lot's of people don't treat me like a normal person .i think they treat me like that cos im deaf. I am totally normal and do got friends..But not in my tutor class (form class or whatever) only few..today my teacher put me in the group(for PSHE) ...And that group was the worst! cos it was most of boys and they were treating me like im abnormal and asking me embarrassing questions. laughing all the time. and even girls laughing at me..I had enough..humliated for 4 years.. If you say "oh just change your school" its EASY FOR you to say that..Not for me. I cant change skl just like that. I can speak. I can write. I am NORMAL.

What can i do!? talk to teachers? or leave it?

I am 23. And have 33 days cycles. I had a d&c perform two months ago. And well is suppose to regulate the period in the next month. I know this since I had two d&c before. I had sex on sept 20 cause mymonthlycycles.com said on sept 23 I'm suppose to ovulate and I have gotten pregnant before through that charting website.

My question is:
This month I got my period on sept 4. And I had a milky discharge on sept 17 and then on sept 19 I was discharging a watery stretchy gel liquid. Oh and all this accompany by pain on my right ovary but this happen until sept 23. Did I ovulate early or do I stand I chance of pregnancy?

Oh BTW, that was the only day we could have sex because he was on a business trip during that week.

where one of the ureters meets the kidney, it is dilated. He said that this could cause reflux of the urine back into the kidney...he will keep a watch on this and if needed the baby may require treatment at birth. Is there a name for this? Is it common? Is it associated with down syndrome or any other disorder? Please just give me some more information about what may be going on?

My little one is pretty chubby... and I have a feeling she will meet the weight requirement for front facing before she is 1 year old, and since she has to stay rear facing until BOTH requirements are met... can someone suggest a good rear facing car seat that has a high weight limit or a good convertible?
