I have had 3 children . I got stretch marks on my belly/ hips/ butt from my first 2 pregnancies . I got none with my third.

My stretch marks have now faded to white , and even though i know i can't get rid of them . It annoys me sometimes to think that i'll never be able to go to the beach again in a bikini like i use to , or to the pool in summer , or wear really nice clothes like i could before. obviously i can still go to the beach lol , but i can't enjoy myself .

I'm not overweight, my body is toned . But i wouldn't dare go out showing skin ( like at the beach )

How can i learn to accept my stretch marks , without getting upset every time i look at them ?

You know sexuality is a part of being a human, kids these day are not only having sex, they're getting married at such an early age. If you can have these two choices, which one would you choose for your child?
1. Early marriage, but children must have abstinence before marriage?
2. Have premarital sex but choose not to get married until they're emotionally mature.
I would personally let my child to choose #2, because first I will be a hypocrite to tell my son or daughter to close their leg, because I had sex before marriage, secondly I feel they shouldn't get married if they're emotionally immature. It's a bigger commitment than having sex.
I understand alot of parents would say I want neither I want my kids to stay a virgin and get marry later. but ask your self that you're being reasonable, can your children really wait that long.

I found out afterward that you aren't supposed to breastfeed for 48 hours after if you've had the dye. I didn't know this, and no one informed me of it. My 4 month old is exclusively breastfed. What harm could this dye cause him?

We're prego with our second. Our son turns 5 next month. We had an interview with the nurse at 7wks last week. We were with her for a little over an hour going over family and health history. I also had lab work and urine test done. This coming Monday at exactly 9wks, I have two appointments, the 1st early in the a.m. for a sonogram and the 2nd in the afternoon with our doctor. What should we expect at both?

I am 37 weeks and all week I have been having stabbing pains in my vagina, it feels almost like its in my bladder but I just got tested for a UTI and know that I dont have one. Is this my little guy pushing his head down my cervix. i went for a walk last night and it seemed every step i took a pain would shoot right up there. Anyone know what this is?? I have a doc appointment tomorrow.

My first child is a boy and I had several baby showers before he was born. He is only 2 and I feel like we have most everything we need. I think this baby is going to be a girl but still, do we need to have another baby shower? Should I tell people no thanks if they offer? What is the proper etiquette here?

It's that time of year and insects, spiders in particular, are out and about more than during the hot summer months.

We think our daughter might be getting bitten by them at night while she is asleep in her crib.

My 6 month old son is now wearing cloths for an 18 month old. He isn't fat just really tall for his age (2'7"). Who comes up with the sizes that babies wear? Is he just huge or something? I mean he was wearing 6-9 month cloths at 2 months old. Is this normal?

My Mother in Law is amazing and I love her so much. The problem is, I wanted to have a baby shower before the baby was born (back in August) and she is now wanting to have one for me after the baby is born so people can see the baby. I am very, very worried about this because I don't want anyone touching the baby due to they might have had a cold or the flu recently (since it is cold season), most of my family are smokers, and I just flat out don't want this little guy to get sick from anyone bc I'd feel horrible. Am I over-paranoid for thinking this way? I feel as though I'm being selfish. I'd love a baby shower, but I don't know. I was thinking that I could pick up hand sanitizer and have everyone that comes over use it? Is that silly of me to think like that?

I have a 3 month old and an 18 month old. We will be making a 12 hour car trip to our new residence. My husband will be driving the truck, so I won't have any extra hands in the car. I will be stopping every few hours to feed my 3 month old, and I have a car seat tray for my toddler. Any suggestions on helping to keep my 18 month old busy during the car ride? I've stocked up on his favorite songs, but I don't want markers and crayons in the car. Any suggestions?

Ok this could be one of 2 things so I need some advise.
This morning I went to use the rest room and had a clumpy white discharge come out of me when I wiped. Curious so I stuck my finger up there and then got a clear jelly like discharge fall out of me. Hey it's my body... I can poke and do whatever I want to it LOL. But what in the world was it. No blood or any color other than clear or white. Does any one know what this could have been?
One guess it maybe it was the "lube" the doc put on his fingers to check to see if i was dilated but come on now why would have junk have stayed in me allllll day yesterday and alllllll lastnight? Plus I showered and wait a second why would they need that much lube LOL. Just trying to find a resolution to this strange discharge. Help ladies!

Well last night I was feeling a lot of pain in my back and I was wondering if anyone else ever felt this and what it was. The pain started from the back of my neck then went down my spine and radiated to the front eventually. The feeling lasted for about 20 seconds then went away and came again every five minutes or so for about three hours. Could that have been pre-labor or early labor signs since I'm 8 days overdue? I woke up a little while ago and haven't felt those, but have been getting front contractions for a while now but they are scattered in timing and don't last very long (about ten to fifteen seconds at most). ALSO, does the baby move a lot before birth? I read somewhere that the baby will stop moving as much. My little guy has felt a lot more active over the past two days. I've also been experiencing this weird nauseating feeling that comes and goes as well (feels like really bad gas.) I am 8 days overdue w/baby number one and I have a doc appointment at eleven fourty.

He drank 3 cups of milk a day with no problem from 13 months to 15 or 16 months. One day, he handed the cup back to me and refused to drink it. I have tried warming it, mixing chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, etc.. and nothing! He won't drink it. He's not a big fan of cheese but loves yogurt. Is there anything else I can do to make sure he gets his calcium?? Any ideas please!!! Thanks!

My girl is 6mos,started off with rice cereal,banana & carrots & got v.constipated for 3days with painful BM. So I stopped all that & started with oatmeal cereal,prunes & homemade applesauce & 1oz of diluted apple-prune juice. I gave her a little rice cereal again 2 days back & it's happening again. She grunts and passes gas but is not able to poop.
I have tried sitting her in warm water as my nurse suggested.
What do I do? Is it ok not to give rice cereal at all? Will she miss out on any nutrients?
How is she going to have solids if she gets constipated for every other food? !!
Pls dont suggest castor oil!!

I just read about the new toys to be recalled...and I'm sure it's not over yet by far.. I was shopping for toys for my baby boy however the other day and it's almost impossible to find anything NOT made in China! I guess it's time to go to smaller quality toy stores that sell safe wooden toys etc..

I am not saying everything made in China is bad but unfortunatly I can't know what is and what's not and the safety of my son comes first so I'll avoid "made in China" labelled stuff at least for a while. (I wonder if Mattel can recover from this)

last month i went to gynec 4 just check up she took my pap test told me that it is little more than uaual after that this time when igot my period it was very light actually just spotting and it came 3-4 days b4 after my periods were over i took medicine which doctor gave me as soon as i finished it again i got spot during and also this time i feel my body tempreature ihas increased my leg pains also i got light headche i mreally confused that wheather i m pregnent we r planning for the baby
