I am 37 weeks and all week I have been having stabbing pains in my vagina, it feels almost like its in my bladder but I just got tested for a UTI and know that I dont have one. Is this my little guy pushing his head down my cervix. i went for a walk last night and it seemed every step i took a pain would shoot right up there. Anyone know what this is?? I have a doc appointment tomorrow.

JUST got back form the doctors and asked the SAME thing.... its just the baby "setteling" down into the canal getting ready for birth. Good Luck!

I wish I could tell you what exactly it is. But I can't. I had the same feeling with all four of my children. It can be excrutiating. I remember stopping dead in my tracks because it hurt so bad. Yet I never had an explanation to what it was or how to prevent it.

My friend girl thought she had a UTI too when she was in labor.You could possibly be in labor.Call your doctor and see what they say cause her pain continued on until she had an epidural in her back and a baby in her arms.Congrats!

Sounds like you could be in labor, call your ob and tell them they will probably tell you to come in early so they can check you out! good luck!

Your cervix is widening and ready for little guy to come threw. Have some sex and it will plug the pain a little. I'm serious me and my girl did it and my male membrane massage her inner walls.
