I found i am going to have a d&c because my uterine wall is 3 times as thick as it should be... could this be the reason i am not ovaulating or gotten prego yet?? the doc said that i might have some polyps too.. but my ovaries didnt have any cyst or any thing.. just need some advice thanks

8 days overdue (doc wants to induce me next week) and I know I've asked a question about BH's before, but this is sort of a different subject in a way. So here is my question-

Are Braxton Hix contractions supposed to last for hours on end? I got them at about 11pm last night (the top of my tummy got rock hard all of a sudden) and now it's 4am and still my tummy is hard as a rock and so uncomfortable. My lower back hurts so much. I've been getting these all the time and instead of coming and going, they last for hours. Just wondering if any of you are going through the same thing and what do you do for relief.

I'm nearly 13 weeks pregnant with second child and all my clothes are getting too small, i just look a bit fat just now so too small for maternity clothes...i think!! But it's driving me mad, i have no idea what to wear and i feel like such a scruff, i'm normally a size 10, any ideas please??

My hubby and I picked out girl names that mean flower but I want middle names any suggestions and do you like the names? Surname is Bosque sounds french but not pronounced like it. Thank You to all P.S note I would like to pick first names that are easy to pronounce in spanish for my parents and inlaws they speak and understand english but I want names that don't sound ridiculous in spanish thanks.

My son who will be 3 in October has been toilet trainned for a while now, he took to it really easily but the problem i have is when he wears his pants with trousers he seems to forget about going on the toilet. If he wears pants without trousers he tells me when he needs to go toilet and goes on toilet but when i put trousers on him with his pants he has an accident and when he realise's he is wet he tells me then he needs to go. I have spoken to H.V. and they said just leave the trousers off but he is going nursery in Jan and would like this problem to be solved by then, did not really want to go backwards. He is my eldest and have no elder children to show him. Any answers please, much appreicated.

I don't know if I spelled that right but my question is, what all is involved in a circumcision? Does it add any time to the baby's hospital stay and how long did it take? We are having a boy in December and my husband and I want this done but I am a little anxious about it.

my wife lost her twin sons, she lost them before she was with me, she had something wrong called twin-twwin trasnfusion sndyrome, but we want try again, my wife and i want a faamily with kiddss together, but I dont belive she can go through something like that again. what would you think?

Ever since my son was 4 mo. old my husband and I noticed her hands always on his crotch and said something many times. My son is 4 yrs old now and recently has come foward that his grandmom touches him down there. My son recently started pre-k and has been acting out severely in school. He has been hitting, biting, spitting, breaking things, talking back excessively as well as he is fully potty trained but will pee on his br floor or in his bed, he has a decrease in appetite, always wants one of us to sleep with him, afraid of the dark, and has even touched my husband and I there and has been asking that others touch him there. I am stuck between a rock and hard place because this is my adopted mother that is supposedly doing this and I have done nothing but love and be there for my son and go to college to be a teacher and graduating this spring. I also overheard her talking to him in br and not cool. What do I do? This is my mom and yet it is my job to protect my son.

I'm no futher than 9 weeks I went to the DR. and she listened for the heart beat with the dopler and could not hear the heart beat so she is ordering an ultrasound, should i wait until after that?

Here is the thing. I just found out I was pregnant. I also just started a new job. The thing is they don't offer maternity leave until a year of employment. What can I do to supplement my income while I take time off for the baby? I know I can't take the usual 3 months so I was thinking a month and a half. My boyfriend and I will have money but not alot if I don't work all that time with no pay at all. Is there some sort of short term disability not offered through work that I can get? Any answers will help.

Well the doctor told me that i have an ancored placenta which means that when the egg latched on to me it attached to the very top of my uterus i dont really feel my baby move i told the doctor and this is the reason why becauser the placenta is a the very top the baby kicks that instead of my stomach i was scared before the doctor told me this but the doctor says that its not a problem and im lucky because the baby and the placenta will come out at the same time but its also some what of a bad thing for me because when they give me ultrasounds some time the sac is in the way and i dont get any good pictures. but if you have ever had this or heard about tell me what was going on

I looked up the recaled baby items.The travel systems, car seats, swings, basinets, and play yard slash changing tables.They get the most recalls.I also hear about their recalls on the news.Putting all that aside in my own mind I when I went shoping for travel systems many time I did my own little strength test. I shook , leaned on and pulled on the items they have set out for display. I checked Graco, Evenflo, Eddie Bouer, and some other generic brands. Graco had the most unstable products, Evenflo did really well, and Eddie Bouer was the strongest . So why do people buy unsafe ?

I'm a pre-calculus teacher and I have a 16 year old girl in one of my classes. I had her last year as a student as well. Last year she was very quiet, but this year she seems even more quiet and is very shy. She won't talk to anyone and when someone tries talking to her she replies, but very quietly and she looks really nervous to talk to anyone. Whenever I glance over at her she always looks very distressed. But she's a very hardworker and gets all of her work done and is very thourough. I just don't know why she's so scared around people. What do you guys think? I decided to ask this in adolescent since teens may be able to give me some insight.

I'm trying to potty train our son, who is 2 1/2. I've tried different forms of rewards for going potty but nothing really caught his fancy. That is until we were at a festival and he got a temporary tattoo.
Today he told me he wanted to use the potty, so I took him in. He got bored after 30 seconds and wanted off. I told him if he stayed on and went poop I'd give him some stickers. He didn't care, so I told him I'd get him some temporary tattoos tomorrow if he went poop. That did the trick, and a few minutes later I was praising my boy for going potty.
I talked to my husband via email,he just hasn't responded back yet. What do you think?
