That is such a hard stage, where you can see people looking at your belly and wondering if you are pregnant, but too afraid to say anything in case you are just getting fat! It was such a blessed relief when I was about 20 weeks when a vague acquaintance asked me if I was pregnant. I realised I finally looked REALLY preg, not just porky!
To avoid that stage, i would say, start wearing maternity clothes now. They emphasise the fact that you are actually pregnant, are very comfy (I'm sure you know, you will have enough discomfort later on, make the most of the fact that clothes are too big for you. There will come a time when you can't fit into ANYTHING confortable!) and you may as well get your money's worth. I didn't start wearing maternity clothes until I was about 6 months pregnant, just relied on stretchy tops etc and only got a tiny bit of use out of my real maternity clothes before the bub was born. May as well start wearing them now and have a good 6 months' wear out of them!

I am approching 12 weeks and I am the same!! I hate this 'in-between sizes' period!!
I have been picking my lowest hipster jeans out which fit snuggly underneath my little bump and also anything with elasticated waist such as joggers if you aren't really going anywere in particular! Wont be long before those maternity clothes fit us!!

maternity clothes. alot of the pants/jeans have tapers in so can be taken in and let out as your bump grows. im actually finding my maternity jeans look nicer and are alot comfier than normal jeans. i also got a really comfy jumper as its freezing here now and a tunic for evenings out but part from that im just wearing my usual long tops.

With all the beautiful empire waist blouses and oversized sports shirts, you should have plenty to choose from. Most young girls around here simply buy what they usually wear, they just go up one size. The good thing about that is that they have something to wear right after the baby is born.

I'm 23 weeks and I've found that hip huggers will go far, and you don't have to worry about those pants later on cuz they fit under your belly, my advice? go to walmart or a good thrift store and get a few good low rise jeans, comfy, not too tight, and many pregnancy shirts are nice and flowy, they'll look good now and later on,
congrats!

congratulations hun!
with both my pregnancies i wore leggings & a top at your stage. gypsy skirts with elasticated waists are very comfy & forgiving too. don`t buy too many things at this stage though cause in a few weeks you`ll have a lovely bump 7 no one aill think your fat.
hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well & enjoy your little one when they arrive :)

there are allot of actual cute jeans that have some stretch to them that will fit you after baby. also there are these things called bella bands that cover you pants so you don't have to button them and they stay up. also there are allot of cute pants that are really stretchy that will literally fit size 10-20 and they are really comfy post baby but still look cute.
