how did pregancy go did they cause problems,and do you bleed with them

I have friends who had fibroid and their pregnancy went perfect,, but one of them had operation immediately after birth and the other of one didn't since it was not threatening...I think it is perfectly OK,,u can have the operation after birth,,

I discovered I had fibroids when I was about 26 weeks pregnant with my first child. I developed a condition called "degenerating fibroids" which basically meant the fibroids started to die because the baby was taking all of its blood supply. The condition was excruciatingly painful (so much so that i was hospitalised) but was not actually harmful to either myself or the baby.
I am pregnant again (36 weeks) and still have fibroids but up till now none of them are degenerating (thank God!!)
i did not bleed tho.

I am 34 weeks pregnant. Yes...I have a fibrod the size of a golf ball...it gave me preterm contractions at week 27...I was put to bed rest...but after 2 weeks...I was fine...so far..no probs...I don't think..it will cause bleeding...worse thing..it can do..is contractions and possibility of preterm labor...but majority of times..it doesnt harm u at all...just do your normal activity..and no need to worry abt it...as long as it is not interfering with your baby's growth...

My friend had fibroids throughout her pregnancy. They monitored them. She was just fine and so was the baby.

hi yes i had them with my last baby i got pain at the end with um and had to have a c-section ,apart from that i was fine and im sure you will be ....good luck xx
