I have been on the depo shot so I have'nt had a period in a while. I want to go take a blood test because I hear that they can detect pregnancy before a home test. Is this right and if so how long should I wait for accurate results?

Yes it is true. I'm sure it's a little faster than a home pregnancy test but i got told by one of my OB's that you can't get a positive until your 4-6 weeks.
