When your pregnant is it usually your lower abdomen that starts to fill out and get hard 1st or is it usually your upper abdomen that shows the weight 1st? For the most part where did you ladies notice the weight more upper or lower abdomen 1st? Thanks for your help!

every single pregnancy for every woman is different. I started showing in my upper abdomen right away (within the firs month) but a lot of women I talk to don't start to "show for at least 3 months. You won't find any consistency in weight gain. They give you a range but it is just an average. I've had friends gain weight in their butt and thighs first, I've had friends who gain it in their breasts first... some gain it in the arms and face... zero consistencies.

With my 1st, I noticed down low first. This time, I see it both upper and lower abdomen and a lot sooner. I'm 10 weeks and feel like I'm already growing.

I noticed mine in the lower abdomen first. Then as I got bigger, the weight just kind of spread all over :). I carried my first baby high & the second lower.

I got "fluffy" in early pregnancy..that weight was in my upper belly. But that started to fade as my lower ab got harder and my appetite started to die down.
Around 15-16 weeks I got the hard lower ab in both pregnancies.

Lower for me. Your uterus is moving up and forward and doesn't reach belly button level until 20wks or so.
