Ovulation occurs only once a month, regulated by a hormone system that involves the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and ovaries. The time interval between ovulation and the onset of menstruation (called the luteal phase) is about 14 days for most women. The most fertile period is 12-16 days after the last day of your period. This is when you are most likely to become pregnant. So, if your period ends on the 1st, you would be most fertile on the 12th-16th and would begin to menstruate on about the 28th, ending around the 1st. These figures also depend on your cycle length (28 days, 31, days, etc.). Hope that makes sense!

it all depends on your body and your cycle. do you have a 21 or 28 day cycle. Go to www.babycenter.com/ovulation-calculator and it will ask for the last day of your period and then will chart your days of ovulation and days the baby would be born if you were to conceive during that time. It is a great site and is easy to use

f you have the standard 28 day cycle, you would count from the first day of your missed period until you get to day fourteen. Days fourteen and fifteen are the days you are ovulating. Remember though, sperm can survive for 72 hours inside your body so if you have sex on day twelve, there is still a chance that you will conceive. Good luck!

each woman cycle is different, even if you have a reguler 28 day cycle, a lady can ovulate anytime after her period, as yet some ovulate durning their period, some ladies doesn't ovulates at all in a monthly cycle as yet in a year, most dr. perscibe clomid to you and say you'll ovulate between days 10-16 but not every woman does, some ovulate as early as day 8-23, ovulation is so tricky for some, I myself is ttc#1 and it is so hard to determain ovulation, I have pcos and don't ovulate on my owns, I am currenlty on Clomid to help me, and pinpointing ovulation is still difficult because I have no EWCM, some ladies predict ovulation because of the EWCM, or they have slite cramps,

Best thing to do is have sex every other day after your AF

Typically, a woman ovulates 2 weeks after the first day of her last period. A good website to let you know when is mymonthlycycles.com. Try it out. Good luck and I hope you have a beautiful baby.

Every woman is different, so every cycle is different.

Ovulation usually occurs 14 days BEFORE next period.

With women who has regular periods on 28 days, it certainly is on their 14th day, however, with longer or shorter periods, ovulation occurs on different times.

If you do have regular periods on lets say 30 days, you are most likely to ovulate on your 16th day.
With a cycle of 26 days, most likely you are ovulating on your 12th day.

This is all because The Luteal Phase usually lasts for 14 days and it time period beginning with the day after ovulation and running through the remainder of your menstrual cycle.

Also, maybe you should start to measure your BBT, which will help you determine time when you ovulate.
You should have sex day before, on day, and day after of ovulation to gain best results.

Good Luck!

At "about" day 14 you ovulate, so you want to have sex a couple days prior to day 14.
