I have 2 biological kids ages 5 and 7, then I also have custody of a 15yr. old. I have always dreamed of a big family I love kids!! My fiance has a good paying job but also has to pay child support for his 2 children ages 7 and 8. So my question is should I have more children? I dont believe in having your self fixed and not on bc due to the fact of it causeing miscarrages if you do concieve while on the pill. I figure if the Duggar family that has 17 kids can do it maybe I can. I just want someone outside the family to put there opinion in. THANKS

Im 21 weeks pregnant with my 5th. Ive always wanted to have a baby for some special family who cant. I have no regrets in life and love ALL my babies very much. My babies have all they need maybe not all they want but definaitlly all they need. If i go through this I would want this baby to have all he/she wants and needs. Heres the thing we have some friends that medically cant have kids. So my husband and I considered them to be our childs parents. One small thing though, I cant stand her husband. He is late 30's unemployed again, controlling towards her, and has a very short fuse. He will get mad at the smallest things and walk out of a job and has no problems letting her support him while he sits at home on his butt watching TV. He has had 8 jobs since 2007 all of which he walked out on. If I do chose to give my baby for adoption I want him/her to have a better life then we can provide. So any suggestions on how I can tell her No because I dont like her husband?? Thank you every1

My kids are outside a lot, and they all love to go barefoot. Which means, they track in dirt and mud every time they come inside. So i set up a new rule, you either wear shoes or you wash your feet when you come in (I set up a bucket of water and rags right outside the door). This worked for about a day. So i was thinking from now on, to charge them per pair of dirty feet (50 cents for the little kids, $1 for middle kids, $2 for older kids). We already have a swear jar ($10 bucks in the jar per nasty word said). do you think this would work? am i charging too much or not enough? thanks for all answers.

I know it's not a must & I normally wouldnt be so concerned but my son is so shy and slower to adjust to new situations. I am a stay at home mom, (which I love) My son will go to kindergarten next year. He is doing great and is ahead with academics but Im worried about him just getting used to the idea of doing this by himself. Kindergarten is next year for him. I had him in preschool 3 mornings per wk but took him out b/c I was unhappy with the preschool, now Im having trouble finding a place for him close by. I am considering not putting him in preschool at all but Im really concerned. We go to playgroups, library, etc and he is fine but Im with him. Some are telling me he will do just fine once he adjusts to kindergarten and that in another year, he will just be that much more mature , others are telling me it is important for him to go this year so he will be used to being away from me and the whole school setting by next year. Anyone have a similar situation they could share?

My last cycle was August 18th, I have a 30 day cycle, and my luthal phase is 13 days. I was supposed to ovulate btw the 2nd – 5th. We did the BD on the 3rd. I haven’t had any symptoms beside a few headaches and a little nausea. So AF was supposed to come today. I know the day just started but a few weird things have happened. I always start my cycle in the morning. I usually feel major cramping before I get out of the bed but this morning I felt the cramping and though to my self that AF was coming. I got up and to my surprise I see no blood. This is very weird because I always know and feel when I’m about to come on my cycle but this morning I felt it but no blood. Since I have been at work I have been to the restroom every 30 min and still nothing. I feel cramping and I have a slight diarrhea. Once I get off I will go get a test but what do you lady thinks? My cycle has been working this way for over 4 years. I’m not stressed, no change in my life, very happy. I’m just a little conf

At what age do I begin to teach my child to wipe him self and how do you teach a child to do that. My little boy is only 4 and he tries but clearly doesn't do a good job. I don't want him to be 7 years old and mommy his still wiping his butt.

If anyone has experience in this please let me know what can be done here.

My boyfriend has a 9 month old son by his ex girlfriend. She got pregnant by him but yet I'm not getting pregnant? Is the problem with him or with me? Also, he asked me to marry him once before but I didn't think that he was serious about it so I pushed his hand away. He said that the time will come again when he will ask me but he hasn't asked me yet. When he asks me, should I say yes? But my mom will flip out if I tell her that I want a baby. She still thinks of me as her "little girl" when I'm not so little any more. So, if I go see a specialist as to why I am not getting pregnant should I do it behind my mom's back or should I be honest with her and take her along with me?

my 13 month old daughter loved- and I mean LOVED- her bath. Now whenever she gets near the tub she goes crazy. I don't know why she is doing this and I have tried a ton of things to make it better. I took her to get a new bath toy, that can only be used in the tub, and it failed. I tried showering with her instead and it failed. I even tried getting into the tub with her and it failed.
How do I get her to take a bath?
On a funny note, she still loves to swim.

Short story: me and my bf found out that I pregnant 3 months ago. I knew that he didn't want the baby, but we decided to continue our relationship, and he did it because he loved me so much. I just thought that time will change his position. But I know he loves me a lot. Now I'm 5 months pregnant, and yesterday he told that for some reasons he doesnt want the baby. I was crying all night, I dont know what to do, I dont have my family here, they are in other contry. I'm alone. but I know that i love this baby, i already know that its a boy, I want this baby, but I dont know if I will be able to afford it. And I still love my bf, we been together for 3 years.

Okay...so my son's 11 turning 12 and he's invited some boys and girls to our house for a party and then a sleepover. They'd all be sleeping in the lounge downstairs together. I think they're to young to be doing anything risky, maybe they'll be kissing but that's not such a big deal. What do you thinks about this?

I don't know how to deal with my situation. I am 30 and desperately want a child. I have had 4 miscarriages in the last 8 years, with the last on in February. I have never gotten beyone the 13th week. No doctor has been able to tell me why I keep having all of these problems.
The real problem is with the relationship that I am in right now. I have recently gotten back together with my ex boyfriend. We were together for a very long time and he was the father of 3 of my babies. He claims he had a vasectomy while we were apart (split up for 2 years). I did get pregnant by him in January and he said it couldn't have been his, but there is no possiblity it was someone else's. He still claims he cannot have any more children, he has 2 from a previous relationship. I love him to death and he loves me. We are each other's best friends and want to make this work this time.
I am confused on what I should do. I love my boyfriend and can't see my future without him in it.

I have been ttc for 11 months now....I was on the pill for 5 years before this. In march I started to chart to see if my luteal phase was short. At that time I started taking B6, B12 and a B-complex to help lengthen it. In June I also started taking Vitex to supplement the B6. In august I had my first 28 day cycle since I went off the pills (the rest have been 24-26). My luteal phase in august was 14 days...the month before I think it was 12-13. Things looked very hopeful this month...I O'd day 14 with a little spotting (which they say means you're very fertile), I had a little spotting day 22, 24, and 26 and now AF is here today on day 27.

My question and my ultimate debate now is do I keep trying the B vitamins and Vitex or do I give my body a break and only take my prenatal (which I've also been taking all this time). I am going to the Gyno in Oct for my yearly and figured if I wasn't prego by then than I would talk w/ her about my options. I just don't know what to do now.

my son is 6 weeks old now and before i was just giving breastmilk but i thought i wasnt getting enough so i am now giving the breast and after giving him some formula..
well since i have been doing this he has only been pooping 1-2 times a day.. but it is a 2 diapers full!... ( i change him when i notice the diaper is full and then he poops again right away in the new diaper and fills that one up to)...
well is this normal? or should i worry?...
(before with only breast milk he would poop about 6 times in 24 hrs)

My baby is due this week. We decided on Lillian (Lily) a long time ago and love it. The last initail is V. We had originally pickey Lillian Marie V. (marie for grandmothers name) but lately we have been thinking, why not do what we really want, its a chance to name someone, after all! We wanted Lillian Valley V. It flows very nicely with the last name.... Buuuuuuuuuuuut... is it stupid??!!! Does it sound like we are hippies? i honestly think its pretty (like liliy of the valley) and wouldnt have minded it if it was mine. What do you think?

I understand that in the hospital the baby will recieve the eye ointment and vitamin k shot. What else is given in the hospital?
And my husband is very upset about all these vaccinations the baby will need to get soon & within the year. Some of them are normal and I understand, like the booster I am familiar with, and the ones required by law and needed to enter school... but some of the other ones my husband is distressed that they arent nessecary and the guys at work are saying they can cause problems as serious as autism?? Which ones are normal and routine to get and which ones arent needed?
