My son will be 5 months old in 6 days. Theres nights when he sleeps all through the night, but lately I feel like he's 2 months old again.He wakes up screaming for a bottle. I've tried to just comfort him back to sleep I've tried to just let him cry it out. But he wants a bottle. I have a problem with the nipple collapsing , I take it out of his mouth to let air in and he screams like he'll never eat again. I give him a full 8ozs before bedtime. I don't know what his deal is. Any thoughts?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have "O" group blood. some friend of mine has suggested that I need a injection in this case but doctors doesn't say anything on this topic! Can anyone helpout?

Hi, i had my little boy on monday morning and my blood loss has been "normal" so far, i hadnt passed a clot for a few days untill last night- i had just breastfed and went to the toilet, i had bled quite a bit and when i sat down a big clot came out- about the size of a plum! i rang the midwife team this morning who said it is normal to loose clots for about 2 weeks after delivery but im still worried - has anyone had this and is it normal

whenever i have a bath recently i look in the mirror and i look like im pregnant it sounds stupid but its true, also whenever i am in the bath latley ive been putting on my swimming cozzie and getting t.shirts and stuff them under it to make me look like im pregnant is this wierd?

My friend is in College in NC. She just got pregnant from a guy that's also a college student but doesn't have a job. Although she is only 3 weeks pregnant, I would like to know is there something that she could do besides having a abortion to make this guy pay money(making him get a job) in NC.

Ok, just so i can get a rough idea of which name the majority of you like best, i want to ask you:
WOMEN/GIRLS: If Kathryn and Emma were the only two names in the world, and you HAD to be called ONE of them, which would you choose??

I am going through an ugly divorce right now. My 3 year old daughter is in daycare and she pushes other kids around. If she is trying to talk to the babysitter, and another kids also wants to, she will push them out of the way. She is not normally like this, and I am very upset. The babysitter will give her time outs and she still does it. The babysitter is giving me one week. :( I am so scared. I am a single mom, no family in this state to help me, and if I lose this babysitter, I will lose my job, my place to live, etc,. Please, any good and realistic suggestions on how to stop this behavior. I am a loving, patient mommy and I will do what I need to do, that is within reason, to correct this, so everyone will be happy at the end.

I am 36 weeks pregnant, and I will be having my baby soon, the doctor said he might induce me next week because there is too much amniotic fluid. I am terrified of giving birth, I am so scared of the pain and I don't want to have an epidural. I know every labor is different but can someone give me an idea of how labor feels? Also I feel so emotional all the time, Im feeling a little down, I was on anti-depressants before my pregnancy, do you think these are normal feelings right now? Because I feel down now, could this mean I may get really bad baby blues?? Please help me with all these questions, I would sooooooooo appreciate it. Thank you

Earlier this week, my son had run a slight fever (99.9 was as high as it got at around 11 PM) Since then, he has been fine. However, I have kept him downstairs in his play pen to monitor him during the night. He suddenly started coughing (which he hasn't had this week at all) and he woke for a bit, and his cheeks were pretty red. He isn't running a fever, and doesn't seem to be in any pain (though the coughing has made him wake up a few times, and he just goes right back to sleep.) If he still exhibits these signs in the morning, I will be taking him to the doctor, but as it is almost 2 AM, I can not get my 6 year old out of the bed to haul him to the ER, as I don't see this as being an emergency situation. What does it sound like could be happening? (He has had a history of allergies, and he is 8 months old) Thanks a lot!

We started out as just having fun, mutually agreed as I have been going through the divorce process with the ex and he is going through the arranged marriage process. His parents have been looking for a wife for him. But when we had fun we started connecting talking alot every day and having fun not just sex. As soon as I got pregnant, he freaked out and talked about killing himself and me getting an abortion, which I cannot do. He says his parents will never accept the baby, especially from a divorced woman with kids. He wants to still have the arranged marriage to not shame his family but he knows they will find out about the baby. I am mixed because he is not man enough to accept the baby/responsibility but I understand his culture. Though I want to try to be a family with him but I can't even talk about that because his mind is still in shock with the news and only thinking of abortion still. He will not talk to anyone for advice which is making it harder for him. Advice please?

what should a parent do when their 13 year old has a cold? As parents should we still pamper her even when she's 13? What should we do? I live in an apartment, which by the way have really thin walls you can hear the neighbors next door talking. Well my neighbor came knocked on my door asking if my son was ok, because he was screaming and running. Tonight it was like 9 30 pm and my son was outside laughing and another neighbor came out and said for him to be quiet because her son was sleeping. My son cannot go outside because he bothers someone all the time. I am really stressed out over this and I want to move out already, I just moved in is there anything I can do without getting charged for breaking my lease. I really think that its the apts. because they are really really old and they have no insulation what so ever. Everyone who has kids should understand that kids can be loud. Help.

I had to go to the hospital for a scheduled non stress test this morning. baby had good strong heartbeat and was moving around quite a bit. The nurse showed that for at least the hour that I was there I was registering for regular mild contractions 5 mins apart. they sent to have my cervix checked and i am STILL not dilated AT ALL! .... frustrating! I worked tonight (as a waitress) simply to KEEP ON WALKING hoping it would help progress things along. Is there anything I can do, even though I havent even begun to dilate? I am 100% effaced, and zero station. Help, I want to meet her and I REALLY REALLY dont want to have to be medically induced which I am scheduled to do by thursday if she doesnt arrive before then. please help!
