such as high fever(103-104) sometimes throwing up, stomach hurts body hurts, etc. She has been taken to every doctor we could think of, she even spent a week in childrens hospital, had every test possible and they cant find anything wrong, but she continues to get sick, she will be ok for a few days and then it comes back, We are worried because a few years back her sister at the age of 7 died of lukemia, and it first showed up when she was 2.
just wondering what you guys think is going on and if you have any suggestions on what to do, like I said we are taking her to doctors they just cant find anything

My period was suppose to start 3 weeks ago but didnt. I have had cramps all month like im going to start but nothing happens. I was stressed but it was only for about a week. Could that have delayed my period for this long? Or should i be worried about pregnancy?

parent? I don't have children and although I feel maternal I am scared that history will repeat itself and if I had them I would mess them up. Anyone have similar feelings?

curious if anyone else thinks like i do. everyday i hear about so many unwanted kids, kids having kids. seems to me that people now adays are not responsible enough to be trusted with children. what if when you were born male or females (doesnt matter to me which) get fixed. then when you are of age to have chilrden and you have made the commitment to be a parent and have the means to do so, you could apply and get your license. i know people will say that the surgerys are not 100% safe or easy. but lets say for arugement sake that it is safe. what do you think. would this stop our countrys problems of unwanted kids. or children haveing children? do you think people have the right to have kids even if they cant afford it or take care of it? that seems to me to be childabuse? what do you think?

Any suggestions for the best sling and/or wrap for a plus-size mom having a c-section, that's never used one before?

One of my best friends is having a baby in December. She's never used a sling/wrap before and was very interested when I told her about them. I showed her a Moby wrap and she thought it looked too complicated, however, she loved the idea of it.

Any ideas on which would be best for her? Something uncomplicated, size-friendly and won't irritate her c-section incision?

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 6 months now to the date and finally a postive result.

Lastnight, I realized my period was late and my boobs hurt alittle so, I stopped at the store on my way home from work and got a hpt and took it when I got home thinking I know it will be negative but I will do it anyway, and it was postive!! I told my husband right away and we went back to the store at 11:00 at night and got another pregnancy test and so I tried three times just to make sure because it was so unbelieveable...

So all of those that are TTC, my trick was forget about tracking your bbt and ovulation and all of that junk. I put it out of my head for 2 months and I even lost track of when my peiod was due, I know its hard and its certainly not easy to say but relax....

Goodluck to everyone!!!!

I don't want to put all young mums down because there are some who take the responsibilities seriously & do the best by their child & don't sponge off the government. But there are far too many young mums who do not have a clue. I see them out & about with their babies, smoking, its cold & most of the time the baby has a summer dress on with bare arms & legs with no blanket. As a stay at home mum to a 10 month old i meet a lot of other mums, one who's 19yrs old with a 9 month old. She has a partner but no home,he works but they want a council house, the baby is carted from both their parents houses. She has an active social life, goes out to get drunk twice a week, does aqua fit, weightwatchers, driving lessons & palms the baby off, apparently all her friends do this. She moaned to me that people think just because she has a baby she has to stop being a teenager & its not fair. Well my answer is don't have a baby at such a young age if your not mentally ready to sacrifice your young years.

Ok so i'm gonna try to keep this as short & sweet as possible. I'm about 2 mos. pregnant, or at least that's what 2 urine tests have proven (no blood tests as of yet- it's coming up Monday @ doc's appointment). I don't know if maybe i'm not eating enough, but i'm just not gaining any weight. I've lost approx. 5-10 lbs. I mean, i feel pregnant: sleepy, tender boobs, nauseous, hungry. But sometimes I can't bring myself to eat anything, maybe i'm just being lazy. On another note, last nite, i went to pee & heard something fall in the toilet- 2 small ($.25/quarter-sized) bloodclots. I wiped & there was some dark or purplish-brownish blood. I freaked out. Hours later, went to check again but the blood is gone. I didn't have any pain or cramps or anything. I just feel like i'm having the weirdest pregnancy, if i even am pregnant. Can anyone relate? (With the weight-loss and/or the blood while pregnant?) I'd really appreciate it if you moms/moms-to-be knew what i was going through.......Thanx

Don't freak out.. I know losing weight intentionally during pregnancy is bad not only for your health and saftey but for your childs too but heres the deal.

I am 5'9 and started out this pregnancy at 242 lbs. I am at 238 now and 16 weeks pregnant.

I haven't really changed my diet before I got pregnant any becuase I have read all the horror stories about losing weight during pregnancy... but whats better eating mcdonalds and cheto's during pregnancy and gaining the recommended amount of weight during pregnancy better than eating a healthy balanced diet, excersizing (walking 20 minnutes per day) and losing the weight naturally because I'm not consuming 3500-4000 calories a day?

I guess I just need advice. I don't want to continue eating so unhealthy but I dont want to put me or my baby at risk becuase I lose weight during pregnancy.. even if I am eating a "balanced" diet.

Thank you for all of your replies in advance. I will check back an award best answer as fitted.
