Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 September 2007

Kinda depressing not knowing whats going on..Well I have now completely missed my period. the last time i missed my period or was late was when i was pregnant with my daughter who is now six. I did have a docters appointment but my insurance is cancled so I cant go..I have no menstration symptoms at all..I was having cramps three days ago but they have stopped. No bleeding no spotting nothing. My cycle is 21 days long and its hard to find information about my cycle length.My boobs are starting to feel tingly and i have some pulling i guess you would call it in my belly. I am really tired all the time and I am using the bathroom alot..No other symptoms. I took a preg test two days ago came back negative..I am too scared to check again..because for some reason i believe in my heart that i am pregnant..and everytime i get a negative it makes me really sad..does any one eles have a 21 day cycle? i was suppose to get period sept 15th got my last aug 25th. when should i test again?

The Maccanns are guilty. If not of the death of their daughter, but at least of leaving a child unattended, which led to the abduction and possible demise of said child. They should be charged with neglect and action not befitting that required of a person in charge of a child. If they are allowed to get away with this blatant abuse of their position, their action will open the flood gates for all other irresponsible parents to do the same. I fear for the future of all chrilden if they get away with this. Never did we leave any of our four children allown until they were at least 16yrs old.

I have a 14 year old step son, meal times.. he doesn't eat.. he gorges.
Typical.. I expected it for a teenage boy.
However...me and his father spent over $340 on groceries just for the 3 of us..and I bought certain thing's for myself, just odd thing's.. certain foods that I like..we specifically told him not to go near my thing's.. and he does.
We kept telling him not to.. and he does.. I dont know what to do.. after being told not to go near it.. it all adds up, and I can't afford to keep buying these items just for him to have when there is his own space aside just for him, and he has his own money to do whatever he wants... how do I go about this.. I dont want to put everything under 'lock and key' but I'm seriously considering it :S

So, l saw my doctor yesterday and complained of the missed period, tight tummy, occassional pinch like pain on my belly button. he said he suspects pregancy and still another blood test yesterday still says negative. l was 8days late that yesterday. He said, he doesnt see any problem, that l should hold on till the end of this month to do another test.
my symptoms have been, at 9dpo to 20dpo l have dizziness and tiredness. but since this week, l have stuffy nose while the diziness has stopped, and mild cramps on the waist, occassionaly.
And my doctor told me to stop taking pre-natal vitamins for now. Pls do you think l may still be pregant and whats ur experience like?

I am 16, in my final year of high school, and going onto college next year. I live a fair way out of the city, i have to travel for a long time every day to get to and from school. Most of my friends live in the city or close to it, so it makes it very hard to go out to parties and stuff because of the lack of buses in my area. One of my friends who also lives out of town said he wanted to get an apartment and a part time job in town and asked me if i wanted to be room mates with him. My only problem is my parents. they are kind of overprotective and I'm going to have to think of the best way to ask them about it and have some really good arguments ready to back it up, because they will say we cant trust you by yourself, etc. But the thing is, im not a little kid anymore, and they CAN trust me by myself, they just don't realize it yet. I would still come home on weekends, unless there was a party or something on... which most of the time there would be, but yeah. any advice on this??

OK I know the answer many are going to want to say is ALWAYS USE A CONDOM! but thats not what I'm asking about this. With a married woman who you both have never had sex and know you dont have any STD's.. Do you still have to wear a condom when she is on the pill? And is that ever reccomended? Now I ask this question solely with the thought of having one partner and no others and both are clean of diseases. Thanks in advance

I love my daughter to death. But,she is such a brat! I don't want to sound mean or anything, I know I must have done something wrong for her to be this way. She will bite or hit and we yell NO and she smiles and does it again. She does know what no means. She basicly doesn't listen, I know she is a toddler and I expect some it from her but she is out of control!! Please I need help to straighten her out before its to late!!

my partner and I have a 3 yr old and a 9 month old and are both not working. My partner likes to just do his own thing during the day and leaves me alot with the kids and complains when i ask him to help. I feel very frustrated that A) he does not work and so we are very tight budgeted and B) he refuses to help with the kids even though he doesnt work.
He goes out with his other unemployed mates and sometimes drinks and stuff but i never get to go out!
Am i being unreasonable? Im just feeling so alone with the whole parenthood thing and just feel like a single mother. Sometimes I just wanna leave him but he wont let me, he is very emotionally suffocating and thinks he is the boss.
Really would like some advice here,

My son was over at a neighbors house yesterday evening. The youngest son age 7 was being punished because he got in touble at school. According to my son age 9 the boy was not allowed to go to the bathroom. My son asked his friend and he told him that one of their punishmens is being prevented from urinating. He said that the 7 year old was going to have to wait until bedime to go. My son was over there around 6 pm and they go to bed around 8 pm. He said his brother had not went since after school at 3:30. Should I report this? Is this child abuse?

I am due to go back to work in Feb 08 when my son will be 1. I dont HAVE to go back although of course the money would come in handy. I am just scared that i will leave work and then regret my decision to leave my career behind. I would be putting him in childcare which is one factor swaying me to quit but it is turning out to be a harder decision that i thought.

Everyone keeps telling me that if your pregnant with a boy your sick the whole way through and if your pregnant with a girl you get sick later on..i got sick later on with my daughter but whats your opinion do little boys or little girls make you sicker or did they??

My fiance and I are having a baby anyday now. We are 37 weeks pregnant and so excited. We have 4 middle name chose for the name Avah (also pronounced Ava) we went with the different spelling because this spelling isn't as common of a name, and is also the midevil spelling of Avah and Means: Like a Bird... I liked this name a lot and I need your help with the middle name. These are what we have dicided on and we can not choose one.

she was hard 2 deal w/ before she preg. and now that shes preg shes harder 2 deal w/. Her words "I can't be 15, have a baby and still be told what 2 do, because I'm going 2 b a mom u have 2 let go". It makes me so mad because she always wants 2 b in control of everything even if she knows shes wrong, she has 2 have the last word. She also wants 2 move out, my heart says NO! That I need 2 keep her at hm. Then I think that maybe I should let her fall on her face and let her see that she does need mine & Erics/Dad help. I feel like I'm always walking on egg shells and I need the madness 2 STOP! I also have a 16 & 9 y old sons who I am trying to protect from all my childs madness. She will not go 2 sch. She will not wrk around the hs. I let her go out w/ friends last night 2 b nice, she came hm at 1am. I try to believe in her all the time and she craps on me every time!
