Oh i'm not saying it does have to do with just the sex of it i know most of it is the hormones and how your body deals with those hormones but it's fun to see which sex really makes you sicker during pregnancy

I only have a girl and I was sick during the first 10 weeks of my pregnancy and was fine all the way up until I went into labour (then I started vomiting!) My friend has two girls and had no sickness at all and my other friend has a boy and never had morning sickness. I think everyone is just different and I don't think the sex of the baby has much to do with it though I have heard those stories too.

LOL well so far the pregnancies where both different. I was sick until nearly 6 weeks with my son and one last purge during delivery with him. I was sick maybe 3 times a day with him.
Currently with my daughter I was getting sick before I had even missed my period and it lasted until about 17 weeks. But it was at least 6 times a day and even with meds to control it I had one point where I was nearly hospitalized since I couldn't keep anything down.

Boys do make me sick and not just when i'm pregnant.
Seriously, it depends because everyone's body is different and everyone's body will react differently at different times for different reasons.
I don't believe there's ANY sure way to know, just as there is no way to determine the sex of the baby by 'How high it sits', that you eat salty or sweet food, your body temperature or 'the pin test'. I think we like to think we know, but we just don't.
The human body is a complex tool!!

I have 2 boys, and to me i was sick through the hole thing with both of them. my sister has a girl and she wasn't that bad. So in my case, i would say your right and boys do make you sicker. Guess i wont know untill i have a girl myself!

I got sick with my son right away, and with my daughter not at all. Really, I don't think what the child is is going to have any effect on whether or not you get sick.

I had very slight nausea in the beginning with my daughter and not a thing with my son! He was my dream pregnancy/labour/delivery/baby! She was my pain in the butt! (but I love her anyway, she's got spirit!)
sorry i don't fit your mold at all! lol
I've also heard that the older you are the more likely to have bad morning sickness
