Definitely child abuse. Just make sure you have all the facts and there is no exaggerating going on before you report this.

I think that is definately considered a child abuse scenario. This act can't be a punishment. Beside, there are a lot of methods to punish a child not through harming the child's physical body and health.
As an adult, try not to urinate for the period of time and when you're urgent! I think the person will feel the pain! If not, he/she is ought to be shot.
Anyway, it's all according to your son's info. So, you will need evidence or maybe you could try to approach the person, get to know he/she before any further actions.

YES!! That is child abuse, this can give the child a UTI. I would go to a school consouler first, and they will probably talk to the child and see if it is nessciary to report it. A report from a school official is going to get more attention thatn from some neighbor. Here is a sight discussing that as a form of punishment and the dangers it can cause.

Abusive and medically ill advised.
Once the bladder is full and can no longer stretch further, the urine backfiulls up the ureter into the kidney. It doesn't take a genius to realise that blocking the kidney from excreting urine is a mind numbingly stupid thing for someone to do.
PLEASE report this, this MUST stop.

i imagine that would want to strengthen newborn abuse, because all of us thinks they are going to have the means to take out slightly youngster, even if or not they're experienced. If I talked about some 7-365 days-old coming at me with an AK-40 seven, i'd be like, "B*tch, i will kick your tiny Spongebob-gazing @$$." Then i'd stomp on his head because i'm a lot taller than him. nonetheless i'd lose a knee cap, i'd probable provide him a concussion, so it evens out.

Three things that should never be restricted as a form of punishment in my opinion are food (I’m referring to meals not desert, snack foods, etc.), drink, and bathroom privileges. Are you friendly enough with these parents to talk to them about it? It may have been something your son misinterpreted. If you are not and still feel uncomfortable about it then it wouldn’t hurt to report it. They may decide to do an investigation and they may not but at least you’ll know you didn’t ignore possible abuse.

before reporting these people go over to them and ask them if they do this. if they say yes you need to try and explain to them in an non confrontational way that this is wrong. they are setting this child up for a world of hurt and a many years of a weak bladder.
if they wont listen just leave and call cps and keep your son away from there

I would consider this child-abuse, that is not healthy at all either. BUT, I must add that when I put my daughter in time-out in the corner, she ALWAYS has to go pee (only because she wants out of the corner), so maybe the children haven't got the story straight or have exaggerated it. If it is true, I think that could lead to health/emotional problems later in life.

I've read that this is a form of child abuse. You should go ahead and report it. It doesn't guarantee that anything will happen. Maybe a social worker will go out there and perhaps they'll take parenting classes. But it sounds like they seriously need parenting classes!

Its absolutely child abuse. Holding in urine in for a long amount of time puts unnecessary strain on the bladder and could even lead to bladder infection.
