I'm broody lol! I have 3 kids aged 7 years, 18 months and 8 months. The last two were a pleasant surprise after TTC for over 4 years. I feel i'd like one more baby to complete my family. Everyone tells me i'm mad. What do you think?

I have gotten my blood tested for a month now. the first tiime my level was at 64, then the second time it stayed the same. They were nticipating that it was an early miscarriage, so they were giong to watch it untill it went down. the 3rd time it dropped down to 29, then it dropped to 25, then to 17, then ten days later, it went up to 18. it know that's not a big jump, but it's crazy! does anyone know anything about this or had this happen to them before?

Just curious, if you have been pregnant and had morning sickness, what week did it end? I am in mid week 8 and totally miserable, none of the 'tricks' seem to help much, just grasping for a light at the end of the tunnel!!! I never actually throw up, but my stomach is constantly nautious. Thanks....

I'm 16 (so under the legal drinking age) and I get really sick of my friends getting ridiculously drunk at every party. I do drink, but not to the extent that they do, which usually ends up with everyone passing out or throwing up or... you get the idea.

And the other night there was a house party which got a bit crazy, my friend got so drunk he dropped a glass and then picked it up the smashed pieces, nearly cutting his finger off in the process, so I had to sit with him, blood everywhere and call an ambulance and go to hospital with him. If it wasn't for me, no one would have had the sense to call for an ambulance because they were all so out of it.

It feels like I always have to be the responsible one and that gets a bit annoying. Does anyone else feel like this?

i live in Suffolk County, Long Island. I want to throw a b-day party for my daughter who turns 5 in January. I tried this place Wood kingdom in Farmingdale, but they wanted $350.00 for a hour and and a half!! WAY too expensive! Any other suggestions? It would have to be an indoor party based on the time of year. Also, I don't want to do McDonalds as we've been to a party there, it wasen't that great so I'd like to do something else. I'm looking for other suggestions besides Chuckey Cheeses.

I am thinking about switching my daughter to organic baby formula. What is the difference? Is there a difference in the milk they use or what? I'd like to know if the regular baby formula has hormones in the milk and if the organic stuff is hormone/preservative free, etc. Any advice will help. Thanks!

For new moms: yesterday Jenny McCarthy and Holly Robinson Pete went public w/ their belief that vaccines caused thier son's autism. Oprah discussed a quote by the CDC, which for the first time, they admit they simply do not know and they are currently researching possible links between autism and vaccines.

Question: does this new information change your views of vaccines? Will you question giving your children vaccines? Have you done any research prior to giving your child vaccines?

I watched yet another show on Oprah last night where they had Jenny McCarthy & Holly Robinson on there talking about their kids with autism. This is now the second show where moms just really feel that autism is linked to the vaccine mmr that the child gets around 2 years of age. I am thinking about refusing this vaccine for my child until the CDC looks into this! I mean, autism used to be 1 in 10,000 now it is 1 in 166 (or 150 according to Oprah)! Something is wrong here, why isn't anything being done? Does anyone else out there have any concerns?

Iv been calculating my ovulation days as 14 days after the first day of my period and usually this is the day my temp goes up and I should be fertile we have not gotten pregnant yet? my ex husband has custody of our 2 daughters. i only have access at the weekends. he has remarried. the kids are so unhappy with this new stepmum. she threatens them with children's homes, if they don't eat her food, and tells them they should be in care etc etc. she tells them this is not their home,so they had better do as they are told. she tells them their mother didnt want them...it goes on and on. when i see them at the weekends they are like little nervous wrecks. their dad won't do anything as he doesnt want to rock the boat. my solicitor says i will not get custody of them due to things i have been accused of in the past. what can i do to help my girls? i feel they are going to end up psychologically damaged

my son is 2 1/2 and he don't want to sleep in his own room he comes in my room everynight and say he want to cuddle with me. i keep putting him back to bed he just gets up and come back in my room . Why when people see teen parents do they think they are on welfare? Wasted their life or that it's a diease? Don't teens who have children also have the same rights and ways as older people with children?

Why can't people just call them parents? Not teen parents, teen mom or teen dad but just a mom or a dad? Just like everyone don't teenagers want to see their children grow up to be successful and why not instead of thinking down about them why can't we just help them and not judge them?

I'm beginning to pack my bag for when i go into labor. Here is what I have so far:
3 pairs of panties
3 bras (as far as comfort, which is better nursing or maternity? I'm not sure about breastfeeding yet)
maxi pads
toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, & mouthwash
deodorant
washcloth & towel (2 ea.)
soap
nightgown (dont like hospital gowns)
loose pajamas (2, one to go home in)
socks (3) & slippers
snacks
baby blanket, outfit, & pacifier

Am I missing anything?

just loves whole milk and wont eat alot of food!!!she just wants a bottle with milk in it!!!how can i make her eat food and not drink so much of the bottle???the doctor told me no more than 16-20 ounces a day but sometimes she drinks around 26 aday!!! what can i do??

Ok, so my daughter had tubes put in her ears in March. She is 2 1/2. The first couple of times she had a bath I told her to be careful not to get the water in her ears. Now she freaks out at one little drop of water getting in her ears. Bathtime is a fight when it comes to washing her hair. I haven't found an easy way to rinse where she doesn't scream like it's hurting here. I've even tried to rinse with just a wash rag and she has a cow with that. When I was a kid I had this shower ring that went on my head and it probably stuck out about an inch or two all the way around my head and not just my forehead. This helped the water stay out of not only my eyes, but my ears also. I can't seem to find these any more at all. All I can find is visors to keep the water out of the eyes. Does anyone know where I can find something?

Im 3 days late, and as far as I know i didnt ovulate this month. If you dont ovulate, does that cause you not to get a period, or skip a month? We are ttc, and this sucks. All hpt are neg so far, but my boobs are killing me, im having tiny cramps, and lots of cm. so Im thinking im going to be really late, miss a month, or am just now Oing. Anyone have this happen?

so my son is 4 1/2 months old and i wasnt planning on giving him cereal or baby food til 6 months because my family dr and his pediatrician recommended that. however, hes showing most of the signs that hes ready...

hes teething, when we're eating he stares at the food and reaches for it if its close enough, he eats about 32 oz of formula per day and has been for just over a month now, which does seem to keep him satisfied...

i dont know whether or not i should dive into giving him a little bit of cereal in the morning and at night. should i just wait until hes 6 months anyways, even though hes showing signs of being ready?
