I am pregnant with my second child with my husband, His whole family on his father's side name begins with an A, so it's a family tradition. Our daughter name is Alanna. I need help with more A name's, mainly boys

I own my own daycare business and I have this really sweet 3 year old little girl as a client, she is the youngest of 2. She is treated like a baby, and isn't disciplined at home. I communicate with her mother about her daughter's behavior and she just says, "You need to be nice." I've tried to talk to the 3 year old about her behavior myself, and she just totally doesn't care what I am saying to her or she yells "NO!!" at me. This 3 year old has gone as far to pinch my 7 month old. Just today she grabbed my 4 year old's face!!! Very frustrated and running out of ideas!!!

I have been a vegetarian for several years now. I have a 6 yr. old child. Who occasionally likes to eat chicken nuggets and pepperoni pizza. I want her to be a vegetarian. But I don't know how to tell her why she shouldn't eat meat. I'm doing it to respect all living beings and it's part of my religion that shows compassion for all living beings.

Has anyone else heard of this? My co-workers have been following my infertility saga and have suggested that I start taking Geritol, many of them claiming they have children that are the product of taking this vitamin. One girl was on Clomid, which is what my doctor has me on, and it never worked. When she started taking Geritol, she got pregnant.
If this is true, that it atleast helps, why is this? How does it work? And do you have to take the liquid form or do the pills work the same way. I have a problem with liquid medicines... they don't go down very easily... Usually not at all.
Any information would be appreciated!

I was very shocked to find out that some states allow abortion up to 24 weeks!!!!!!!!!!! That is unbeleivable!!!! The baby can be born and survive at this stage and it is not against the law to kill it? I am from Europe and in my country abortion can't be done after 12 weeks, why you people don't do something to change this stupid law and save babies! And by the way what kind of woman can KILL her baby once she can feel him moving inside of her, I can't believe someone can actually do that.

I gave my baby some peas from gerber with his rice cereal and 3 days later he has some diarreah...well, do you think it is from the peas? Maybe he is not ready for peas? He does rice and oatmeal. He is 5 months. I am not going to give him anything other than rice and oatmeal for a while, but he is allergic or maybe just not ready?

I have him go before bed and limit his fluids within an hour before bedtime. But by morning he peed so much that he leaks. I have tried to wake him up every so often at night before I go to bed, which is often very later. He's not a child you want to wake up. I used to use the night-time pull ups, but after a while he used to pee through them. They just got too expensive. He wears underwear during the day, so don't want to go back to diapers. I have tried good nights too, but he leaked through those too. Unfortnantly, he still has the occassional accident during the day, hes been a real challenge to potty train. Any suggestions that could make this easier and help witht he night tiem problem?

I saw a chart once about how much babies should be eating and at what intervals. Does anyone know about it? I cant remember where it was or what it said!!

My baby is 10 weeks on monday. Eats anywhere from 3 to 6 oz every 3 hours but goes about 6 at night. This puts him at an average of 30 oz a day. Just doesnt seem to be enough but he is gaining weight!! Anyone know?

I am 33 weeks prego with my third child. This whole pregnancy has been extremly painful due to bad Sciatica and horrible pelvic pressure since the 2nd trimester. Each week that goes by I am finding it harder to handle. I am always feeling horrible and in a bad and tired mood. It has been aweful just trying to take care of my girls :( At work today I just started balling due to all of the frustration and I don't usually do that. I feel like I am farther along than they tell me I am. It is impossible for me to know that for sure though since I never had regular periods. I probably am only 33 weeks, but due to gestational diabetes he is huge. And to top it all off I am carrying him very low. I know I will make it, and I can't wait to see my first baby boy :) But it is so hard to make it day to day. It's a constant struggle. I feel like I don't have many people to talk to who really symphasize or even have any idea what I am talking about. Thanks for listening.

I run a daycare out of my home. I care for 3 children as well as my son. Two of the children are sisters. They come from a home with no structure or discipline. When they come to my house there is both and they rebel against it all of the time!! Now, I know that it is also their ages (3 and 1.5yr). I've been there with my children (5.5 and 20 months).
Long story short, they are aggressive and take it out on my 20 month old and the other child I care for (10 months old). Yesterday the 3yr old pulled a blanket out from under the feet of my son, he fell and bumped hi head on a toy resulting in a huge bruise. Today the 1.5yr old yanked the bib off of the 10 months olds neck and the velcro scratched the back of his neck pretty bad...his dad was not too happy and needless to say neither was I. Their parents dont ever appologize of discipline the children so the behavior is getting worse. Several talks have taken place with the parents and nothing has changed. Do I terminate care?

So, after trying EVERY bottle on the shelf I came upon the Playtex drop ins. They dont give my baby the air of the others and thats a problem being he cant burp himself. My question is,, will I be able to use the others later when he becomes moble and/or holds his own bottle? OR do I have a bag of waisted bottles/MONEY?????

My baby is 12 weeks old and only sleeps in 40 minute blocks during the day where apparently he is supposed to sleep 2 hour blocks. Will this sort itself out or do I need to do something to encourage him to put himself to sleep. I dont like to let him cry because he only works himself up and makes it worse.

My son's first birthday is on Thanksgiving this year and am trying to figure out what to do. Of course we will celebrate it on Thanksgiving (have a cake & sing & presents from Mom& Dad), but I am wondering if we should have our family "party" then too, because everyone will be there, or should I just wait until that Saturday and celebrate it twice? I want it to be so special because he is my special boy! Any advice?

I mean come on people, let's grow up! It's just a breast! I try to be as discreet as possible, although I don't have an issue w/ it if someone's breast is exposed...Personally I'm more offended by someone's 13 year-old daughter's a ss hanging out of her age-inappropriate clothes or the person at the beach who is way too big for the type of swimsuit they're wearing. . But as the saying goes, if you don't like it you don't have to look... same goes w/ public breastfeeding!

first time pregnant and bleeding not badly but enough to freak me out. somtimes its brownish sometimes its red , it differs, and i don't know what is going on. i told my caregiver and she told me its normal but im still scared, and she also told me if it was a miscarraige i would have lower back pain and really bad cramping and i dont heve either. but still is there somthing wrong??????! HELP!!
