Try to calm down, you can bleed when pregnant, my mom did with me. And your caregiver is right, you would have severe cramping, and bad back pains. I had a miscarriage last year, so i know she is right. How long have you been bleeding? you can email me if you would like to so we can talk, i am not a dr, but i can maybe give some advice. princessrobert@aol.com

You know I bled with both of my children..It can be "normal" for some women and it could also be the beginning stages of a miscarriage. That being you need to just lay as low as possible.
Is there any chance you could go into the OB's office tomorrow and have them do an ultrasound to see how things are going..warning: It will be an "internal" ultrasound. That's what I did with my son and daughter - it reassured me that they were still there.
My heart goes out to you ..I know how scary this is..There were several times that I thought I lost my little ones..I wish you nothing but the best of luck!

Yes, some woman do spot, so first remain calm. Next make an appointment w/your obgyn to make sure everything is okay.. The key is not to freak out... because additional stress is not going to help your situation.. so take a few nice and relaxing breathes.. and think positive...

So, you've told your caregiver but they haven't checked you out? Find another care giver! Any bleeding should be checked, especially in a first time pregnancy.

How far along are you? Many women experience "implantation bleeding" and thats what it sounds like you're having, that usually happens in early pregnancy. Your doctor is right, you'd be cramping and you'd have heavy bleeding and blood clots...I hope everything is fine! Best of luck!

If it is just spoting, don't worry. If you are bleeding, you should go to the emergency room, my friend had a miscarriage and felt no pain at all, she just bled for a week, not too much.

Call your OB immediately, the bleeding could be an indication of a serious problem.

Sounds normal to me, some women spot during their first trimester, but make an appointment with your doctor just to be safe.

FIRST OF ALL, HOW PREGNANT ARE YOU?
I DON'T LIKE THE SOUND OF JUST LETTING IT GO.
IT COULD BE MANY THINGS. SOME OK AND SOME
NOT OK. GET A FULL CHECK UP INCLUDING A
SONOGRAM. THE INFORMATION YOUR PRESENTING
IS TOO LIMITED. YOU MUST GO GET CHECKED WHEN
YOUR PREGNANT AND THERE IS BLEEDING.
STOP WORRYING
