Has anyone else heard of this? My co-workers have been following my infertility saga and have suggested that I start taking Geritol, many of them claiming they have children that are the product of taking this vitamin. One girl was on Clomid, which is what my doctor has me on, and it never worked. When she started taking Geritol, she got pregnant.
If this is true, that it atleast helps, why is this? How does it work? And do you have to take the liquid form or do the pills work the same way. I have a problem with liquid medicines... they don't go down very easily... Usually not at all.
Any information would be appreciated!

Honey it's not the geritol that's working, but if it makes you happy, try it. It's just vitamins after all. All doctors will recommend you get on your prenatal strength vitamins or some kind of strong supplement as soon as you are trying to get pregnant so that all the right nutrients are there right from the moment of conception forward. You do that too!! how long it takes to get pregnant has to do with how old you are, what shape you are in and what shape the father/sperm donor is in. It takes what it takes. Let's hope you did not spend years thinking a career was more important. The younger you are the more fertile you are.

There are no vitamins that will help with fertility. That is just a myth. Just because some women got pregnant while taking it means NOTHING. They just got lucky. Start by having sex about 10 days after the first day of your last period and only have sex every OTHER day because having sex everyday can cause low-sperm count in men.
