She is 13-14, middle school, if she gets fat in the middle will she be able to go to school still ?

To the best of my knowledge she can go to public school until its unhealthy for her and the baby.

I am 16 and pregnant,, I am 16 weeks and a week ago they stopped allowing me to come to school at regular school hours because its a hazard to the baby. I go from 3-5 2 days a week, If her school has programs like that then they will be supporting and allow her to do a program like that. Because Being this young and pregnant is already a high risk pregnancy and being in school pregnant there are chances something could happen . So have the parents talk to the administrators of the school and see other options they have for her.

"If she gets fat in the middle"? That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. A school cannot kick a student out just because she's pregnant. I think you should pay more attention in class and worry a little less about other peoples lives. She doesn't get "fat" in the middle, her belly expands for the growth of the baby. There's a difference.
kahlznlola - Its not illegal to have sex at 13. Its frowned upon, but its not illegal. The only thing illegal about a 13 y/o having sex is if he/she does it with someone over the age of 18.

The school won't kick her out just because she is pregnant. She will, however, have to go on maternal leave when she is advised to do so by her doctor.

ummm sure is it against the rules to be fat in middle school because from what i recall I went with many fat people!

The school shouldn't discriminate against her b/c of her personal choices unless she is hurting anyone then mind your business and keep it moving!!!

If she 13 -14 years old they take child from here,may-be put her in a home. not sure they let here keep going to school that young for others kids see and make fun of her.

yeah normally u wont get kicked out of school for being pregnant. although it is ILLEGAL to have sex at 13 let alone get pregnant. It makes me so mad to hear about children having children.

all schools are different the high scool i went to let you go til you started to show because they didn't want it to start an epidemic if you know what i mean , now what is a girl this age doing pregnant?
