Go to www.babyhopes.com and go to there ovulation calculator and enter in the date your period started and it will give you a pretty accurate dates on when you are fertile and when you will ovulate. Also get a ovulation detection kit and that will also help you figure out when you ovulate. I just did all of that myself and the day the calculator said I would ovulate I took the ovulation test and it was right! You just gotta start to track your periods every month and get to know your cycle and it will all start to come into place for you.

Have you been bleeding for 2 weeks? That's the only way your period would still be going on by the time you're supposed to ovulate. And if you've been bleeding that long, your hormones may be off and you may not ovulate anyway.

Or are you saying you started bleeding around the time you were supposed to ovulate? In that case, you would ovulate later. You would need to start counting from the day your bleeding started.

1) What day did your period start and 2) How long are your cycles? No one can even guess to answer your question without those two things.

Good luck.

How do you KNOW you are suppose to ovulate on that day? Did you look into a crystal ball, chart your cycles for so many months and figure it's just gotta be, or are you using some ******* formula that assumes every woman ovulates on the 14th day of their cycle. IF you are using the LAST one then you quite frankly may never get pregnant. Alot of women DON'T ovulate anywhere near the 14th day of their cycle so what you are basically doing is either waiting too long and missing your chance or you are giving up too early and missing your chance each month. If you are really not into the idea of charting your cycles then try to have sex every other day from the 3rd day of your period until your period comes again and if it does come when it's supposed to, then test. You cannot ovulate on the day your actual and true period starts because the right hormones aren't in place. The hormones that maintain the lining of your uterus need to be high for ovulation to occur if your lining is shedding aka you are getting your period then it's just not high enough to cause ovulation or maintain the egg even if it was fertilized.

Honey, that would mean that you have been on your period for 2 weeks! Women ovulate 2 weeks after they have started their period. If it is time for you to ovulate and you are still bleeding then you need to go to the doctor. The answer to your question is yes. If its truly time for you to ovulate and you are still bleeding you can still get pregnant.

You should ovulate in about 5-15 days after you period. So when you period ends start having sex every other day until your next period. Or try using opk's to help determine when you are getting close to ovulation and then start having sex. Visit this website www.peeonastick.com to learn more about opk's. best of luck ttc!!!!!!!
