I'm broody lol! I have 3 kids aged 7 years, 18 months and 8 months. The last two were a pleasant surprise after TTC for over 4 years. I feel i'd like one more baby to complete my family. Everyone tells me i'm mad. What do you think?

As a mom to 4 with another one on the way, I think you are right out insaine LOL but go ahead! If you feel that baby is meant to be there, then you are probably right. I have 4 and another one on the way and I think I'm insaine.(although I didn't plan on this one or the 4th one)If I were you though, I'd put a little bit of time between them because trust me if you end up with a bunch of kids all under 6 it will drive you mad(I know ALL of mine are 6 and under). You're not nuts!! I heard that big families were the "in" thing... I want a big family too.. I would like to have 5 or 6, but hope in the next few years my boyfriend and I will be more financially stable and that we can have more kids... I'm wanting another one right now and my son is 8 months old. I say the more the merrier! Good Luck!

I am one of four. It is not so bad, just realize the financial obligation of having four children, don't expect to have many "night's out" to yourself, especially with children so young.
Also, three very young children, 18 months, 8 months, and a newborn is a lot to handle, but if you are willing to do it, by all means go for it, just realize the consequence. Also, having four children or even more is not odd, the days of the nuclear family are pretty much over.

I would give it time , I had 4 children in 7 yrs and its lots of work and time and $. I never regretted it , and I am enjoying their friendship now more than ever that they are grown and gone. I sort of wish I would have given a bit more time in between each to let them bond more with me and others, seems having them close in age was more a challenge than a pleasure at the time. anyway who cares if you want more, Its you that has to raise them ,or is it???? They do grow up FAST even though there were days that lasted forever .

I dont think you're mad at all. I want to have four, and adopt 4... atleast. Big families make me happy, and i honestly wouldnt know how to feel complete without one.
You get to decide how many kids you want, not other people. besides, ive never heard anything but this- after three kids the number doesnt matter, its all the same, its just as easy.

You're not mad.... I have three kids, 2 boys and a girl.
If I wasn't as broke as I am, I would have more. But hubby said 3 is enough. So he got fixed. I'm happy, I finally had my little girl. Boys are great too!!!
I say go for it!

I don't think you are mad. You are a great mother!! Do not listen to people, have however many children you want! You may want more than four someday. You will know when you are done. From proud mother of 4!!

Mad? I have two boys - in about 3 years I plan on trying to add two mean girls to the list. I don't think your nuts for wanting a fourth, the crazy comes in with the spacing! :P

i don't think that is bad... i have a 7 year old, 4 year old, twin 3 year olds and am having another baby in december.
i have four girls and this one is a boy!
each time i just had a feeling i needed to have another baby, and so far i've been right!

I don't see anything wrong with wanting 4 kids. I just think you should wait a little while til the your younger ones are a little older.
