OK I know the answer many are going to want to say is ALWAYS USE A CONDOM! but thats not what I'm asking about this. With a married woman who you both have never had sex and know you dont have any STD's.. Do you still have to wear a condom when she is on the pill? And is that ever reccomended? Now I ask this question solely with the thought of having one partner and no others and both are clean of diseases. Thanks in advance

My fiance and I don't use condoms, however, I am on the pill and have been for over 7 years. We know each others STDs status and all, we just don't want to become pregnant (not anytime soon anyway).

If you are in a committed relationship and know you and your partners STD status then there is nothing wrong with just using birth control pills. Birth control pills will NOT protect you against STDs though (and I'm sure you know this).

A lot of people will probably tell you to use condoms anyway just to be safe, but it's really just a personal choice you and your partner need to make. Good luck and take care!

There is no reason not to use both. My husband and I use both. The failure rate for the pill is estimated at around 3%. I've personally know women who have gotten pregnant on the pill. So we always use a condom too as back up.(I really wouldn't suggest using just a condom, I've seen failure rate estimates at 12%!)

because of the fact start administration does not preserve you from STDs. basically a condom can do this. it particularly is great that your gf is on start administration, as you're suitable approximately it being greater helpful against being pregnant. notwithstanding oral start administration and different contraceptives, such because of the fact the start administration rings and photos, do no longer preserve you or her from STDs. Pulling out/retreating (in spite of you opt to call it) is likewise for the prevention of being pregnant, no longer STDs. the only time it particularly is risk-free to no longer use condoms is while the two considered one of you're monogamous and the two considered one of you have at the instant been checked for STDs and HIV/AIDS, and had damaging effects for sure. in spite of in case you be attentive to you and your companion have been monogamous, you ought to the two be examined each 6 months just to ensure. do no longer forget which you do no longer might desire to have intercourse to get HIV/AIDS, and the final element you desire to do is provide your companion an STD.

Better option: Don't have sex. Way lower pregnancy rate. Somewhere around 0%? Am I right?
