You can buy Plan B without a prescription as long as you are 18 years old or older. Any woman or man can buy it as long as they are 18 or older. It's still kept behind the pharmacy counter though, so you'll need to talk to a pharmacy technician or pharmacist about buying it. If you are under 18, then your girlfriend needs to get a prescription for it from her doctor.
Plan B is emergency contraception though and shouldn't be used like regular birth control pills.
If your girlfriend wants to get on regular birth control she'll need to see a doctor and get a prescription for it. She can visit her family doctor, OBGYN, or her local Planned Parenthood.

No you cannot, the doctor needs to prescirbe a type specific to your girlfriend. You cant buy the pill without a prescription and it is best that your girlfriend go to the doctor for her own safety.

No, im pretty sure you have to get a prescription from a doctor. You can always to into planned parenthood as well. No matter where you go, they are going to want to do a vaginal check before they give birth control to her.

not in the U.S. it requires a doctors prescription in her name. If she goes to planned parenthood she can get a script...You can pay for it but she needs to be there and have a valid prescription.
