i try to tell her i am there for her when she wants to talk and that it would be good if she feels comfortable to talk about her problems with me, but she won't open up

something about school is bothering her but she won't talk to me about it

Ok so I am 30 weeks pregnant and I have only had one ultrasound is this normal? I haven’t had any complications during this pregnancy and all my visits I have gotten good reports the only ultrasound I had was around 20 weeks to determine the sex, will there be any more? I would think they would take measurements or something the closer I get to my due date. Right?

My husband had a vasectomy after my son was born...he is now two years old and I would really like to have another child around my son's fourth or fifth birthday. My husband is starting to consider the idea, but we are still unsure which way to go about having another child...Would we be better off to have him get a vasovasectomy and then ANOTHER vasectomy or should we consider In Vitro Fertilization or In Utero Fertilization? Also if you could explain the differences between In Vitro and In Utero...What are the risks or benefits associated with each one of them? AND how much do each of these procedures cost typically? How do you deal with morning sickness that last from when you get up in the morning to about 4pm, and be able to eat. I'm starving all the time, yet when I eat, it makes me sick so I can't eat..... I WANT TO EAT!!!! lol Anyway, when it gets time for dinner, my stomach has shrunk so much after eating 1/4 of my food I'm full, but I wake up hungry. Is there anything I can do, or just deal with it for another 6 weeks for it to pass?

There are obviously more people who want babies than there are babies to go around.
Prospective and adoptive parents seem to be willing to go through so much, and spend so much money to raise a child that is NOT biologically related to them--why?
Why can't people just go on as nature intended, childless?
I truly don't understand.

I really am interested. This is also before you take a test showing positive or having a missed period. What was the first symptoms, and how do you know if it wasnt in your head.

The reason I ask is because i really feel this time that I am preggers but Im trying to talk myself out the symptoms, like nausea, forgetfullness, and fatigue. Other symptoms i cant stop are very sore breast, bloating, and mild cramping. I dont start for another week and i have taken a couple test that show negative but i still feel pregnant. Oh yeah, im 25 years old and very responsible, and having a baby will make me so happy, so no negativity please. Please give me your thoughts.

my wife today in the morning was using some pesticide out side of the house once completed with her work she thought to read the warning label it said do not use if pregnant or if breast feeding well she is breastfeeding or boy of three menthes old so my question is generally when exposed to something deemed dangerous how long should you wait after being exposed for it to be passed through the body and normal breast feeding to resume baby as never had other than breast milk and he not a happy camper on formula!

I'm not pregnant, just ttc, but I don't think I'll be able to give up my uber-hot baths (unless it's bad for the baby of course.) I know hot-tubs are sonsidered a no-no- what about a hot shower? And how hot is too hot anyway? What about heating pads/blankets??)

My 2 1/2 year old is wild. She has been since she started walking. I must keep her on a harness if I dare go out alone with her and my 6 mo. old. It doesn't go well, she drags us then has tantrums b/c she wants to walk by herself. (She runs and never looks back without the harness). She is even too wild for parks since I must hold or watch my 6 month old. She obviously has great trouble participating in events such as Kindermusik, story time at libraries, gymnastics, etc. She spends half the time in "time out" or we simply leave. We have even tried to give her a spankings with little effect. At the same time, rewards like stickers have little effect on her being good. We can't find any buttons to push. Even if we take away a toy she doesn't mind. If I just give up & stay at home she is bad because she is bored. Family tells me she is exactly like her dad was but to me that is not an excuse. I can't stay home and I can't go out happily. What can I try?

I posted a ? yesterday about my possible pregnancy. I estimate I ovul. @ the 11th, & had sex basically from the 2nd til the 18th. past week I've been having mild naseau, WICKED mood swings, gas (normal bowel movements, no obvious cause for gas/gas pains.) Ystrday noticed I had mind fever symptoms, my boyfriend confirmed I felt warm. That was it, though.This AM, I woke up & felt fine. around 8:15 I got very dizzy & decided to lay down for a minute. I then got flu-like symptoms- felt hot & cold, starting sweating SO MUCH it was weird & then got very clammy. I wrapped up in a blanket & basically passed out. woke up at 11:00 and felt dizzy, weak, still exhausted, & was covered- COVERED- in clammy sweat. I tried to get up but felt so weak and laid back down, passed out, and just woke up. I felt incredibly weak but once I got up & started moving around, much better, just a mild headache. My question is: are these symptoms of early pregnancy/implantation?? My period isn't due until the 30th!

I'm 8 months pregnant and the heartburn has kicked in, I can't get to a pharmacy until Monday, does anyone have any natural remedies that will help?

I have had heartburn before but this is something else!! I live in Greece and my brother brought me over some Rennie from the UK but they were no help at all, I'm going nuts as I can't sleep because of it! Thanks in advance for any answers.

my son doesnt yet talk, he understand things when I talk to him like come and get breakfast, no. he doesnt say any words, he is very vocal, he shouts at tv and when he is awake he will call for me but not by mamam just by shouting. Is there any way I can help him along? I havent been to mother and baby groups as Im overcoming severe depression at the moment (I am seeing gp) I dont want him not to be involved with other kids I find it hard to socialise myself since I had baby. Even if he said 1 word Id be happier!! any ideas? thanks

It seems my post upset a fair few young mums. I should have chosen my words better. I meant mums who have a baby for the fun of it then once they realise how hard it really is, they palm him/her off onto someone else or just don't take care of the baby properly.I come from a council background so im not a snob but there is a huge amount of young girls doing this, it seems too easy for them to have a baby, get a house & benefits-all for the wrong reasons.
A lot of people need benefits, but not use it on cigarettes & booze. A lot of people need council houses, to start a good life with a roof over your heads & there are some amazing young mums, just like there are rubbish older mums.
I was talking about the rough young girls with babies freezing cold, smoking fags,boyfriends have a can in their hand, pass their babys onto anyone else every other night shirking responsibility to get drunk-if this isn't you then im sorry my post upset you.
