I know how you feel! When my second daughter was born, we didn't have a name for her so we took the baby names book to the hospital with us. We went through it while she was there and 12 hours after she was born, after going all the way A through S, we decided on Sarah. It just fit her and still does. As for my other daughter, I was watching a movie while I was 8 months pregnant and it hit me when I saw a character named "Heather." That was it!
I would suggest that you don't try to find one. That is all I can tell you. It will come to you when you least expect it.

You have probably been looking at too many too fast. Give yourself a break for a day or so. Consider family names, even maiden names of your mom & paternal grandmother. Don't panic. Make a list of names you think are ok & ask for opinions. Read the credits after tv shows & movies. This gives great exposure to exotic names. Best wishes for a happy healthy baby!

My husband and I had the same problem. We found so many boys names that we liked but could not find a girls name. Eventually we found Robyn and I still love the name, it's not a very common name but it's pretty. I also like:
Gwen
Aimee
Ella
Emma (couldn't use because DH's cousin used it for her daughter)
Maddison (DH wasn't a big fan)
Good luck in finding a name!

Hmmmmmm..... Well that is a tricky one but I'll try my best to find you a beautiful one.
I don't really know what you like so I'll do a list of girlie names and tom boyish names.
Girlie:
Millie, Grace, Lucy, Kelsey, Tilly, Alicia, Eva, Mae
Tom boyish:
Zoe, Elliot, Jamie, Ellis (yes these can be girls names too)
I hope this helped, if you're stuck try babynames.com good luck!

Ruby is a pretty name. I also love Olivia; that is what we're planning to name our daughter if and when the time comes. I originally wanted to go with Sophia, but I made the mistake of telling my sister. Guess what she ended up naming her first child?
Whatever you decide to go with, congrats :o)

I had the same problem with my new baby girl. I read baby name books so much they all just started to sound dumb....i got so upset that she wouldnt have a name at all! A day before she arrived we came up with Alia (Al-eye-a) Rose. Ive never heard it before and we can call her Ali for short if we choose. Simple and sweet. Consider it!

because either you are fussy or you are simply "all named out" - in other words, overwhelmed by choice.
Try giving name choosing a rest for a bit.
Whem you restart choosing, try to limit the choice by choosing from certain categories eg Greek classical names
or choose a meaning you like and search for the language with the prettiest version
