My daugther I am always with her cause I am not working at the time. But no matter how much attention I give her. If I am on the phone she starts whining. If am taking to an adult she starts misbehaving. Why does she act like that? Do all kids do that? Its starting to get on my nerves. Cause I can't have a normal conversation with someone on the phone because I hear her crying or nagging.

I am 12 1/2 weeks and my doctor hs measured the baby's length. We have had several sonograms and the baby's length has also put her/him in the right week (plus or minus a few days). I am curious though - at what point will they start to measure the baby's weight in additional to the length? And is this a guess of the weight or how do they actually know how much the baby weights inside of you?

This is my first pregnancy, i noticed my hands and wrist hurting a few days ago, but i am only 5 weeks pregnant. It is not an intense pain but bad enough for me to talk about it. Is this normal??
also i was reading on a website if your urine is dull(clear) it means your having a girl, and if urine is bright it means your having a boy.... is that true?

I want to make a correction from my last question... What do you think of Linnea (pronounced Lin-nay-ah - it's Swedish, I believe) and then Claire as the middle name, or should it be Claire Linnea? What do you think about those two? My last name is Applebach.

We can't go anywhere without him being really extroverted and gregarious with everyone. I don't see his friendliness being an issue (although I don't let him bother people). My mother however thinks he's going to be more in danger of someone trying to kidnap him one day because of this. Ex: If someone walks by our front yard he'll yell hello from the back and ask them to come and play. I'll correct him and tell him not to talk to strangers so much.
My question is, how do I draw the line between crushing this child's overzealous spirit and keeping him safe? Does anyone else have a child like this?

My son is almost 8 months old and still isn't crawling. He tries like crazy but he just can't seem to master it. He can work his hands right, and he can work his legs right, but not at the same time. When he's on his hands his legs just lay there but then when his legs start going he lays his hands to his sides and starts scooting on his nose! However he shows a lot of interest in standing and walking. He can stand by himself for a couple of seconds before his balance goes, so its not actually his legs that give out and collapse its just that he doesn't have the balance thing down yet. So do you think he may skip crawling and just start walking instead? Should I be worried about his not crawling yet or is this normal?

I had sex 3 days ago with out a condom my boyfriend n i are trying to get pregnant.. He ejaculated in my and for the next day i was leaking really bad is this a bad thing? i read on a few sites its good n that it means that i just had alot of semen inside me.. OK, dad is thinking he is going to change jobs and is not sure what kind of insurence we will have. Or how long we will be without it. I do get urinary tract infections every once in a while and Dad says that I'm getting cut now while that is an option so there are no more worries about it.

I told him I don't want it. I say it's my penis and I like it as it is. It's going to be painful and will never feel the same.

My 11 year old daughter just started Middle School. She came home last week crying, that on the bus 2 girls held her down by her neck under a seat while a 3rd girl went through her backpack and stole almost all of her school supplies. Of course, she didn't now the girls names so when I called the school they informed me that without first and last names there wasn't much they could do about it.

The bus system is run by a private company, so I contacted them and filed an incident report. The bus company sent a supervisor out the next day so my daughter could point out the girls. Of course they denied everything but a report WAS filed.

Same thing next day, the girls were threatening her...that they were going to punch her, etc. I called the police and they talked to all of them, but the girls filed a report of threats against my daughter.

I have went through all channels, is it wrong for me to tell her to defend herself if she has to?
school seems to think it's not a big deal.
