I want to make a correction from my last question... What do you think of Linnea (pronounced Lin-nay-ah - it's Swedish, I believe) and then Claire as the middle name, or should it be Claire Linnea? What do you think about those two? My last name is Applebach.

My last name is not pronounced apple-back, but bock, as in the composer Bach.

I am 98% Swedish so Linnea is one of my favorite names.

I would definatly use the name Linnea....It is solid and cool, but not trendy. I adore the name.

I think Claire Linnea Appleback flows better than Linnea Claire. Also being that Linnea is so unique it's going to be mispronounced quite a bit, whereas everyone should get Claire on the first try. If your daughter happens to like being unique she can always chose to go by her middle name when she is older.

Linnea is a pretty name but consider that people are probably going to pronounce it wrong (lyn nia), maybe you could spell it differently so that it is easier to pronounce? I love the name Claire, I just had a daughter and named her Bree Claire. I think you should use Claire as the first name and Linnea as the middle name, good luck!

Linnea is a beautiful name. I prefer Linnea Claire over Claire Linnea, it just flows better.
