My boyfriend has a 9 month old son by his ex girlfriend. She got pregnant by him but yet I'm not getting pregnant? Is the problem with him or with me? Also, he asked me to marry him once before but I didn't think that he was serious about it so I pushed his hand away. He said that the time will come again when he will ask me but he hasn't asked me yet. When he asks me, should I say yes? But my mom will flip out if I tell her that I want a baby. She still thinks of me as her "little girl" when I'm not so little any more. So, if I go see a specialist as to why I am not getting pregnant should I do it behind my mom's back or should I be honest with her and take her along with me?

First how long have you been trying for a baby. Doctors won't see you until you have been trying for at least 1 year with no luck. If your over 30 then they will see you after 6 months of trying with no luck. You only have a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month. 85% of healthy couples get pregnant within a year of trying. If after a year you haven't gotten pregnant then you and your boyfriend need to go to a doctor to see if there is anything wrong with either of you and then you may start fertility treatments which are not guarenteed to work so it's a waste of time to go to a doctor. As to if you should say yes if he asks for you again then that is your decision. If God wants you to get pregnant then you will get pregnant.

ONLY a specialist can answer your question bout not having a baby yet, they will need to do some test to you...if you think your not her little girl anymore then do what a mature girl should do, go ahead and see a doctor even not with her....having a baby will be your decision not your mom... you will be the one carrying it anyway....goodluck..

It might be that your not ovulating, you and your partner should go and check a gyno to find out why you are not conceivin, I am having difficulties conceivin due to PCOS I am not ovulating, I am currently on my first month of Metformin & Clomid to help me ovulate this month, I did 3 other cycles with clomid alone, some people conceive on the first cycle of clomid, ask your dr to run some test on you to find out whats wrong with you,
