Or even be more careful in who we slept with if it were feasible for us to become pregnant? ( o _ 0 ) I can hear myself saying:
"Ahhhh! I missed my period and I'm pregnant! Ahhhhh! Some girl knocked me up!" ( ^ _ ^ )

I'm 23 and I've lost two pregnancies both at 5 weeks.
Have anyone gone through the exact same thing and had a kid later on? What did the doctor tell you??? Was your man the problem???

I have been told two times that everything is excellent. So why is it happening.

Stories please:
I wanted to know that if you conceive with a guy and then married another guy, did you finally carry full term???

My daughter is 4 (5 this October) and she will be enrolled in a pre-school program because she misses the age limit to enter kindergarten. She is more than ready for kindergarten and I would say even ready for first grade...shes' exceptionally intelligent (she was enrolled last year in a pre-scool program as well called Head start adn her teachers were unbelievablly impressed iwth her) The thing is, I, personally did not do well at all in school and my mother wasn't exactly involved--at least anymore than she had to be. So, I want to make sure that my daughter gets the right attitude about school (she already does, but I don't want her to lose it, as I've seen happen to other kids) What should I do in order to be more involved? How do I approach the teacher to let her know that I am interested in knowing the class curriculu so that I can work with her at home as well? Any advice will make the situation easier for me. I'm just not used to this. Shes' my oldest.

I feel like a retard for asking this, but I feel like a closed mouth doesn't get fed. I know people say the best way to concieve is to just have sex (I think every 2 days, or something), but what the doctor, nor any book can explain to me, is the whole ovulation/fertility thing. When are you most fertile? When does a 28 day cycle woman ovulate? Can somebody like explain it to me in layman's terms...pleeeaaasse?

Yes I know it is in Harry Potter and yes I am a fan of the books. It also appears in the Odyssey, she is the daughter of Menelaos and Helen of Troy. It is also the name of a Queen in Shakespeare's a Winter's Tale.

One of my friends just found out she's having twins, one boy one girl, and Jamya is what she wants to name the girl and Jamelle (Ja like Java and Mel like Melon) is what she wants to name the boy. I think Jamelle is cute, I am just not big on Jamya. What do you think?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since January. Sperm tests showed poor & lazy sperm, so the doctor subscribed him "levocarnitine" and "q10", which are supposed to improve the problem in 3 months approx. (the treatment ends in October). Do you know anyone who has done this? Is it really effective or should we be prepare for IVF?

Well, this morning it was 97.8. My period is due tomorrow so could this be why? Is this a deffinate that I'm not pregnant this month? I don't want to get my hopes up again. Thanks for any help!

So I need some help. I have a three and a half month old baby girl, I am a stay at home mom, and spend many many hours playing with, her holding her and just taking care of her. Which I LOVE! I know how lucky I am to be able to stay at home with her. But she very rarely naps unless I am holding her. (this is one of the few times) I love cuddling her but need the naptime which is never very long to get some house work done, maybe eat something myself once in a while (lol). I have no problem letting some of the house work go, But it's kinda starting to get to me. I did try to give her about 5 minutes to cry but I couldn't handle it! I try letting her get good and asleep then put her down and the second Im not holding her she wakes up. at this point I would be thrilled with just a half hour a day. Any sugestions would be great! Thanks in advance!

My LMP was 8/13, and me and DH did the BD at the "right times". Lately I have been experiencing a few of the same symptoms from when I was preggo in June. I have been extremely moody, making constant trips to the bathroom, and eating like hell. I tested last night and got a big fat NEG...my NMP isn't expected until Monday. Could I still be preggo, yesterday was just too soon to tell?

I really set myself up here. My daughter is 9 months old. I'm a stay at home mom and I breastfeed her. So she is really attached to me. She is used to having me 24/7 and won't let anyone else hold her (including daddy) even if I am right there beside her. How do I get a little bit of my life back? I just want her to stay with my mom a couple hours a week so I can have some "me time". Or I even thought about going college and learning something new. She only sees my mom once a week for a few minutes. My son who is 4 loves to stay at my mom's house. Will being around my mom more often help her get used to her?

I have read up on this and know what they do, but it's not something i remember during my first pregnancy back in 94/95. I have a regular yearly pap etc done. Is this similar to that? I feel really weird having my mail doctor do this kind of test on me. I know while giving birth he is going to see even more, but then i won't care, i will be in too much pain.
Has anyone else dealt with this? We are having an ultrasound to determine our baby's size right before this appointment and i am really stressing about that as well. From this ultrasound we will have to decide to go with a planned c-section or to keep trying for a VBAC that i want so badly. Any advice or suggestions would be great! With most everything else i am totally comfortable talking to my doctor about, but he has always only done measuring and feeling my stomach etc nothing internal.

Went to my almost 37wk check up and they did an US and he's breech. Dr said that it was very unlikely that he would flip on his own because he doesn't have much room, now we have to go 3hrs away(I live in a small town and have to travel 45 mins to Dr apts) to get him turned...If we decide to do that. We were a little in shock when this hit us, although I had a feeling he hadn't turned yet. Any1 know the risks to my baby? I have been looking online but they just state they are small. I WONT do it if they could hurt him in the process and just get the Csection, but we are first time parents and are leery and nervouse about this. If we don't get him flipped my personal Dr will do a csection at 39wks. If he does manage to get flipped (58% chance) I will be induced at that time. I need peoples thoughts and comments on my choices and what you would do. My husband is so worried that when they flip him he will get hurt and I really don't want that to happen...

I just started taking a very low dose birth control after about a year and a half on not being on it. I started when the doctor told me to - the Sunday after my next period ended. At that point, I was on about 10 days into my cycle. My husband and I had sex around the time when I would *normally* ovulate (Around CD13-15).

Shamefully, I must say that I haven't been very consistent in taking it. It's been a very crazy month, and I haven't been able to take it at the same time every day.

I was just curious as to what the likelihood is of getting pregnant while taking the first round of birth control. Does it prevent ovulation immediately, or is a backup plan (like condoms) needed for a while? Anyone ever gotten pg on birth control?

Thanks in advance for any help/info!

Hello everyone! I am currently 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant with my first child. I will be finding out in exactly two weeks whether I'm having a boy or a girl. I haven't bought anything yet except pregnancy/baby books because I want to wait to see the gender of the baby. When did you first start buying stuff while you were pregnant? What were some of the first things you bought and what are some essentials for my baby registry? Thank you very much for your answers!
