Oh Kooties, you had me at the first 10 words! First of all my husband cannot be selective, he married this crazy lady that may honestly consider castration! If a man could get pregnant, it would be my dream come true. I would knock my husband up everytime that he could see his shoes again! First of all if men could become pregnant, it would be a scientist somewhere that would cure morning sickness, swollen ankles, sore breasts. Labor would be painless and there would be a magic pill that could be taken after delivery that would magically make a man loose all the weight that he gained within 24 hours. I do not think a man would be more selective especially if testosterone is still pumping in his body. Men would just create a way that pregnacy would be much, much, much easier.

Girls seem to be more concerned over the simple fact of being pregnant than who by. Guys would be the same. They'd still shack up just the thrill of sex with a hottie and then panic that they might be pregnant, at no time ever giving a thought to the character of their potential baby's other parent.
To be fair, it's more to do with biology than character. We're all designed to want to have sex just so that we'll have babies. It's Nature's way. It takes tremendous dedication and presence of mind to avoid the circumstances under which that can happen, and we should never take for granted the pressure that most teenagers resist every day of their lives to give in to their sex drives. To all who manage to keep your legs crossed and pants zipped, I salute you!

It's why I'm so selective. I think it's why anyone should be selective. As a man, you may not be able to get pregnant but you can impregnate, and if you do your attached to that kid for their entire life and to the mother like it or not. Even if your not apart of your child's life physically your still connected psychically and that can change you in more ways than you realize.

ha, lol that's funny! I think that'd control some guys but, not every guy. I mean there are some girls whose fear of pregnancy keeps them from being sexually active, or at least makest them be picky about who they sleep with. But then again, there's still a lot of girls that the pregnancy factor doesn't seem to faze. It's actually not a gender question but a personality/character question, and that differs from person to person. But I think there'd be a lot fewer 'pimps' (man whores) if it were visa-versa.

LOl agree with so many here...but one thing I failed to see.... MANY women fake or just don't have the big "O" so, if none of that, could a guy still get preg?
LOL Sorry, must face the unavoidable truth here... not that I ever did that but hear about it often, :)
Peace be with you :)

I think so. Men are sluts, and the possibility of having an 18 year commitment would stop a few from being "players" .
Very funny, interesting question!

Probably not because women for the most part are not more selective with who they sleep with. It would just end up with more unwanted pregnancies and more abortions.
