Personal experience only and please don't tell me what the normal range is because I already now this. Just want to hear from other ladies what their levels were at 7 weeks (if you were tested). Thanking you.

We have a 3 year old and are thinking of having another. The funny thing is it wan't our idea, originally. Our 3 year old started asking us if she can please have a baby to take home like her cousin does.
Now she keeps saying she's doing to have a baby brother.
Should we have a second child?
I never had any brothers, and am a little scared that i really will have a boy...

I have 2 kids in elementary school, am not on the PTA, volunteer when I can. I actively try to gather information about school like who are the good teachers, what kind of curriculum in higher grades, what onsite afterschool activities are good, and in general parents opinion on the school and principal etc.

I do it by casually talking to parents at school during drop off and pickup, or at local parties and other events. If they seem like they want to talk(like me!), I continue a little bit or change the topic/move on. And I do give my frank opinion if they are interested.

I was wondering if there are other parents(not part of the in-crowd of parents at school) who nevertheless actively try to gather info about school from other parents? Just curious.

I just found out that I am pregnant again. Of course my boobs are a little sore. Though in the past few days my boobs have been leaking a few drops of a clear liquid. I didn't have this with my first pregnancy so I think that is because I breastfeed for two months with my son, but is it normal to leak just a little bit due to more hormones or do I need to see a physician?

I know that this sounds like a really stupid question, but is it at all possible to be pregnant and still have a period? My last period was the first week of August and I am due for a period and I am two days late for my period. My husband and I did the mattress tango on July 21st,and when I had my period in August it was very heavy.

Is there anyway that I could be pregnant even though I had a period in August? I am NEVER late for my period and I am really worried because I had a mammogram x-ray towards the end of August and it came out just fine, but if I am pregnant, how badly will that affect the baby if I had x-rays taken and I am pregnant and I don't even know it?

I thought there was no way that I could be pregnant because of the period I had in August, but I am starting to wonder if it is possible to be pregnant and still have a period? I am also on medications for high blood pressure and high cholesterol and if you are pregnant you're not supposed to take these meds.

Just wondering but how did "Dick" become a common nickname for Richard? I know dick wasn't used to name a body part back in the days. Does anyone know the origin?

Can you think of other common nicknames that you've wondered "where did the nickname come from"?

We lived in the Chicago suburbs for about 1 year. At the time our child was too young for school. From what we saw of alot of areas we really enjoyed it. How do some of you feel about raising kids there? The schools? Homes?

My friend is having a baby, and they think that it is a boy, but they aren't 100% sure yet. They said they'll find out w/ more ultrasounds. So could you suggest some really classic, pretty, and unique names for a girl and a boy?

We get bombarded every year in Cornwall, by rich yachty
type people. The thing is, their kids always have really stupid names, and I am pretty sure they must be competing with each other who can call their kid the worst name. Here are a few I have heard this year. Boys. Augustus, Rufus, Jasper,Theodore,Titas, Horatio, Girls.Tabatha, Hettie,Octavia, Augusta,Jacintha,Theadora,Petranella. Aren't they just awful?

"Hillbilly"

towelhead
Camel Jockey
****
Spook
******
KIKE
slant eyes
or Chink
you call me a racist.

-You have Black History Month.

-You have Cesar Chavez Day.

-You have Yom Hashoah

-You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi

-You have the NAACP.

-If we had white history month... we'd be racist.

-If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives... we'd be racist.

-If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...you know we'd be racist.

-In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights...you would call us racist.

-Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them. they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned.

-You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

I am white.

and

I am proud.

But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

Now watch, I'll be racist for reposting this

So what? no-one will re-post this for fear of being called racist

if you agree w/ this than repost saying"i'm not RACIST but its true."
