Why do some people get so upset when they see mothers breastfeeding in public? It's a beautiful thing! Why should the baby have to eat in the bathroom or under a blanket in the dark??????????? Can anyone explain this to me?????

Hi there,

I have a beautiful 3 week old baby girl who was up all night with really bad gas. Is there anything i can do too help her with this? Ive tried rubbing her belly and ive also tried grip water. She is a breastfed baby so i do know to watch what i eat. As in spicy foods and dary products.

I have talked a little bit to my doctor and if the baby is in the right place and not breech like my daughter they would like to try a vaginal birth and also because i didn't allow my tissue to thicken in enough time because i got pregnant when my daughter was 4 months..She said that doctor's prefer to do another c-section because of scar tissue...if i birth my baby boy vaginally will i have risks or anything to worry about?

My mother died 6 years ago and my father is remarried. I just found out I'm pregnant and before I tell them I need to figure out what I want my child to call my dad's wife. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to avoid using ma or mom or anything like that.

i am 17 years of age i was raped in august, we are currently awaiting trail, i'm pressing charges, i have doctors proof his sperm was indeed found in me.
i am pregnant, by this man..
my last period was last period was july 17th, i am currently 7 weeks pregnant, i have seen an obgyn and got an ultrasound.
my best friend told me about yahoo, i figure i can not be judged here because no one knows who i really am, so i do not have to worry about people finding out.

should i abort this child? or adoption?
part of me loves the child because i know 50% of this baby is me,and i don't like the idea honestly of killing something i created..

any advice is welcome..

my partners name is barrett and mine at the moment is collins, were expecting our 1st baby in november and he wants us all to have his surname, i dont feel getting married is right for me yet, weve both been there before, i was thinking of changing back to my maiden name which is corfield and then giving the baby's surname as corfield-barrett or barrett-corfield that way she will have both our names and if we do ever get married we could easily drop corfield, he hates the idea but double barrelled surnames are common now, what do you think and what sounds best corfield-barrett or barrett-corfield ? thanks.

Ok 5yr old has a favorite baby doll, she has a soft cloth body & plasic head & limbs.
I have noticed this poor doll has her arm & one leg hanging off, the stitching attaches to the plastic part & cloth so I have no way of sowing it on myself even if I knew how !!!!
I'm in the UK Essex way, is there anywhere I can get this precious dolly mended, she has had her since birth & won't settle at night without her baby.
P.S I can't get a replacement as baby doll also has most of her fingers chewed off & one eyelid has fallen off !!! Also she has no tags !!!!!!
HELP ME !!!!!

My daughter was screaming from gas pain and her stomach was really tight and bloated last night and kept me up half of the night. I said to my husband I was going to crush half of a tums and give to her but he forbid me to do that.

I thought it wouldn't have caused any problems and would have helped. Would I indeed have been able to do this with no bad side effects?

Hi. I have a 2 year old who I am currentlyTRYING to start weaning from breastfeeding. This baby still nurses alot...I work full time, so as soon as I get home, she's ready to nurse, and pretty much nurses the entire rest of the evening, including at night time. We co-sleep, and have done so since she was born. It has been such a great experience for us as a family to nurse/co-sleep but at 2, I really believe she is ready to go on her own.
The problem is, she is an extremely light sleeper. I mean, this little girl will feel me moving to get up and go to the bathroom, and she starts crying for me. Anything..if I move her down in the bed a little, she wakes and wants to nurse. If I am sleeping and she isn't touching my arm/shirt, she wakes. I don't know what to do! It's been 2 long years that I've longed for a long, good night sleep. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start this weaning process without having completely sleepless nights?!

For the past few months, I noticed that my son always went home late. I would usually wake up in the middle of the night to check on him, only to find out that he was not on his bed yet. Before I'd go to the office, I'd also go to his room to say goodbye but he would still be asleep. Since I was frequently busy, I hardly find time to talk to him. Just recently, I've learned that he is has become addicted to alcohol. My son is just 16 years old, I need to bring him to the rehab.

At the time it drove me crazy that I could hardly put her down without her crying, now I hardly ever get to hold her as she's off and running... When I see mothers with newborns I get all broody and want to hold that little warm beanbag of a baby again!! I don't really know whether I'd want to go back to those difficult days, but I wish I could've captured the smell and feel of her tiny body in the early weeks and months.

i have no problem in erections,i can do intercourse at any time but cant release discharge.I want to conceive at any cost,what to do?I went to urologist,he said may be i have prostate infection.I took medicines for that for 1 month,but no results.
Sometimes,may be one or two times discharge comes out in night during sleeping but not during intercourse.
My doctor ask me to collect that liquid for sperm test and give that to laboratory before 1 hour after it comes out,but it is not possible because laboratories do not open in night.
What should i do in this situation?Is there any medicine for that or I should do any exercise or yoga?I am confused.
Is it possible that discharge comes out during intercourse & I do not feel anything?
Please try to solve my problem.

I was wondering.. I am always thinking and saying to myself "Yep, I am pregnant this month".. some people say it avoids you on getting pregnant, but was wondering if anyone was always like "I think I am prego" or "yep, this is the month!" or "Got a feeling this is gone be it!" and actually happened?

Getting over excited doesnt avoid you getting preg right?
